Great little all in one portable unit
The Jensen CD-590 is fairly light weight. The handle makes for ease of transport. Allows you to switch from cassette, cd or radio with ease. Antenna seems to pick up FM stations fairly well. Speakers (sound quality) not bad for something this size. Overall, a good little unit for the price.

Nearly perfect
I've read reviews about this as not having good sound quality. This sounds EXACTLY like a boombox from the 80s before sound was redefined and made 'bigger' now.It isn't loud. It's not a lot of punch or bass.It plays the music well.If you want a high quality sound this isn't it.But if you wanna turn back the dial a little and live in a previous decade for a bit, this is your guy.So far it hasn't eaten my old cassette tapes.I don't like the on/off/selection dial. It's awkward but works fine.Other than that, welcome to the 80s again.

Ate the first cassette tape I tried to play in it
I liked the looks of it, the CD player sounded good, the radio sounded good, but the cassette player, as reported in many other reviews, is junk. The buttons are hard to push number one, then it completely destroyed the tape after pushing the play button. Returned. And at least Amazon is good about quickly refunding payment. Plus by dropping it off at Kohl's, I got a $5 coupon to use on my way out!

Arrived broken
Bought it from the like new but package damaged. I've had good luck with that before, but this time was unlucky. The unit itself is cheap light weight plastic. The hinge for the cd player was broken. A plastic piece for the hinge on one side was broke off and no where to be found, so the cd door wouldn't shut. I expected better from the name brand Jensen.
