Works great
I had 3 different sprinklers needed on various areas of my lawn and this handles them all plus allowing for a hose to water plants and our garden. Setup was easy with the app and the schedules for timing watering works great. love it

Simple and effective
The Bluetooth function is great. Easy to program from phone. No wifi so there are restrictions on programming distance but it is still easier than manual adjustments on timer itself.

Hose
Works great. Super brand. Only one small down side is the Bluetooth range so if you want to run a manual you got to get close. Only thing made it better if it was wifi instead. Other than that super. Just set the schedule and let roll!!

Reliable and dependable!
I have two of these sprinkler timers. They work well. They are now on their second spring/summer season and I have not had any problems with them. They have not leaked and I have not had to change out the batteries yet.

Works Amazing 10 stars!, (USE NEW BRAND NAME BATTERIES!)
This thing is awesome for 40$. It literally does everything you could ever want. I can see why some of the reviewers complain about it however. There is a learning curve to it and a couple wonky quarks to watch out for.Quark1You need to give it a few seconds between opening or closing a valve (regardless of which, it can only open one or close one at a time and needs a couple seconds to do so before opening or closing another/the same valve.) Otherwise it may not always open/close the 2nd in line reliably because of the delay that seems to be either physical or coded into it. Always leave a few minutes between open/close times of the valve. Ex: valve 1 has a programmed open time of 01:00, close time 01:10. then valve 2 can not open or close at 01:00 or 01:10. Make the opening/closing points are a couple of minutes different (before or after) and keep that in mind when you set up multiple programmed run times between valves. You can not have it do 2 things at the same time.Quark2Menus are also kind of wonky, most of the time you need to turn something on (ex: rain delay) before you can change the duration of the rain delay from ex: 1 day(default), to 2 days or x amount of hours. (Same for program and manual run going from memory)Quark3Bug with renaming valvesOther reviews mentioned something going on with renaming the valves that apears to cause some kind of bug that can mix the valves up order wise on the screen, so i just left them valve 1 and valve 2 (stock setup)... It is not complicated... if you need, you can change the image associated with them if you really need a visual aid to figure it out 1 vs 2... But to me this is something that is astetic and unnecessary. Likely a programming issue but for 40$ this is amazing and it is literally half the price or less of all its competitors...BackgroundAs someone who has done coding and learned multiple program languages, i can totally understand why some stuff it is kind of wonky. Additionally as someone who repairs computers and works with wireless technology in a business environment, i can totally understand why people had issues with bluetooth signal.Quark4This leads me to Quark4 which should honestly be common sense... But im listing it as a quark to save some people the hassle of figuring it out...You *******NEED******* to use good reputable batteries in the unit if you want a decent signal and for it to reliably open and close the valves! DO NOT use cheapo dollar store JUNK batteries or ones that have been sitting for who knows how long/were previously used; because when it is under load opening/closing those valves, the votage will drop on cheap batteries and can cause it to mess up. Junk batteries can also cause issues with your bluetooth range because the bluetooth chip is not getting enough power to get the signal out there. Get brand new duracel or energizer batteries and test them before putting them in with a multimeter if you think they may have been sitting a while at the store you bought them from or just because.Bottom line. Most of the wonkyness people complained about is valid but with a little trouble shooting is easy to solve. There is a learning curve and this review should be super helpful to mitigate that. Everything in the app is straight forward, however if you want to make changes or look at something you tap it. If that doesnt work, turn it on, then try to tap it again and it will likely let you make changes to it. If your struggeling just play with the app a little and you will figure it out. It seems like the devs did not have the budget to think of every way people would try to do something and did what made sense to them. So if something isn't working, try to think of how it could be done a little differently like turning on or off the function before trying to edit it. What you get for 40$ is worth way more than 40$ in this caseQ&AHas the programmed run times ever failed for you?Yes i had it happen 1 time out of about 300 runs so far. During this particular situation it did not start and when i opened my phone and connected to it, it started working properly on its own. With anything like this, you should be checking in on it regularly to ensure batteries are good and it is working properly. There is no such thing as perfection with technology, especially if it uses AA batteries.Would you reccommend or buy again?Overall it has been an awesome little unit. I would and will buy more if i ever need without hesitation and have reccomended it already.
