good value
this is amazing value for the money. it it not the best quality floyd rose style bridge by far, but it works, and is functional and unbelievably cheap. The fit and finish and metal quality is a big deal, and that is what I have the most reservation about. But the sheer price and fact is usable is good value for the money. I received it very quickly as well. The trem arm would not fully tighten on my particular example. But it made an inexpensive guitar usable - and therefore made it worth fixing.

Best buy for the price! Brought a junk guitar back from the dead!
Bought this to bring a busted guitar back from the dead. Got it installed and I'm impressed! I am by no means a Floyd guy, I have one guitar with an OFR on it that sits in the case. This saved the guitar from the dumpster, I got it installed, set level and it holds tune, actually very well, and didn't cost any more than the vintage trems I use on my parts caster builds. I would def recommend this if you need to replace a cheap unit on a beater guitar.

It Only Needs Some Final Finishing
* With Update... When I received this, and having read all the bad experiences some people had, I was reminded of an old adage: 'It's a poor workman who blames his tools'. Not that this bridge doesn't have some problems, but I found, that, doing some post-machining maintenance, including, thread-chasing, and lubrication with Teflon grease, did the trick. I took the entire thing apart. I cleaned all the threads free of their machining debris, lubricated them and replaced them. Next, the whammy bar. It would not stay firmly in place. After some experience with original whammy bars, I realized, that - believe it, or not - sometimes, a little lubrication will snug up the threads on a loose, ill-fitting collar. I lubricated it, replaced it, and now, it snugs up, firmly, into place without slack. But, the arm has a feature I didn't expect; a nylon bushing. That may wear out over time. I also noticed some interesting positive attributes: the base-plate is made of steel. The saddles are made of zinc, but their inserts are also made of steel - not, zinc, as would have been expected. The base-plate is the backbone of a Floyd Rose-style tremolo. Even the FRT Special has a steel base-plate (though, most people don't realize this). The knife-edges are clean and evenly machined. Other parts may be made of more inferior metals, but they are easily replaceable. The sustain block is made of zinc. The string-lock screws, saddle-lock screws, and fine-tuner screws, are all steel. I read some complaints about the fine-tuner screws feeling, 'clunky'. They did. They needed the Teflon® grease and, nothing, more. Oddly, enough, the tension plate was only partly steel, but that is not a big, stress-bearing item. It only needs to flex, under pressure, from the fine-tuner screws, and it does that. I haven't tested the anchor assemblies other than thread-tolerances. I greased those threads and found them to have a smooth, snug, fit, also. However, the unit did not fit on my Floyd Rose equipped guitar! The knife edges were father apart than the posts on My Guitar. I'll likely be using the unit for parts, and, so far - I'm not ashamed to say so! If I find something, I'll update this review.... * I've found that the inter-string distances, are about a half millimeter, smaller (closer), than in the OFR. The entire unit sits, back, farther on the guitar body, than OFR. This is why the base-plate only has two rows of screw holes. Also, after some use, the whammy bar has loosened, to the point of no return. I tried using the base-plate

Bad quality metal
Bad quality metal. It is very brittle and started to crumble when I I tightened the saddles. I had to use pieces from my parts drawer to fix one and the second I ordered had the exact same brittle and cheap metal. Do not buy!

Measure your guitar before ordering to make sure it will fit
Wrong size not accurate description will not fit a dean guitar such as a warlock or dean guitars period no real install instructions great for a build your own but does not work as a replacement my friend routed out his fender affinity hard tail and did his own work so the piece works well just real sure of your definitions.
