How do you correspond the coocos to the correct time?

Take the batteries out of the clock. This will reset the mechanism to 12. With the batteries out of the clock, move the minute hand until the clock reads 12 o'clock. Replace the batteries. The clock is now synced properly. To set the correct time, switch the clock to silent. Using the minute hand, advance the hands clockwise until you have reached the correct time. How to get cuckoo to work with on off switch

Ours worked as soon as we put the switch on on, make sure your batteries are fully charged, we haven't had a problem, sorry I can't be of more help

Do the people up top move? The cuckoo move?

The people do no move individually but are on a platform which moves in a circle. The cuckoo comes out every hour and has an echo to each cuckoo as it cuckoo’s the time. The echo sounds more like a “cuckoo” than the one it is echoing..
