Fleabag: The Scriptures: The Sunday Times Bestseller

I had no intention of buying this originally. Actually, I was patiently waiting for a third season to come out. I figured with the pandemic maybe things were just pushed back. However, I finally looked up when an expected date for season 3 would be only to find that there would never be a season 3. With that search I also found that there was a book and I had to have it. It's actually great to read even though I know what's going to happen. In fact, I love that I can play a scene in my head over and over and I don't have to find my perpetually missing TV remote. Alright, so I'd like to add to the discourse in the reviews. Like many others have experienced, my book came a little dirty. I cleaned off whatever it was easily and now it looks like a brand new book. While it was shipping, I looked up the book to see what it looked like at other places online, in-store, and even watched a book launch from late 2019 and thus concluded that the book is NOT in fact supposed to be dirty as a clever joke or nod to the show or writer. It's just whoever, wherever these books are coming from isn't the most rigid with quality control. That or clean is chic to them. And chic is boring. Don't tell the French. Regardless, thanks to the reviews being honest about how theirs came to them and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Pelas imagens achei que a capa do livro fosse de tecido, tendo aquele aspecto poroso clássico e confortável ao toque. Não é o caso. É apenas uma estampa, a capa dura é lisa como de livros comuns. Isso não prejudica a experiência da leitura, obviamente, mas foi algo que me surpreendeu e frustrou uma expectativa que eu tinha por ser muito apegado a livros físicos com essa característica específica. Vale a pena a compra e é uma obra que merece um lugar de destaque em qualquer estante.

PWB is brilliant and this collection is a perfect partner to the series itself. A pure masterclass in scriptwriting and storytelling. Plus it’s just wildly entertaining and oh so much fun when it’s not making you burst into tears with emotion. Highly recommend.

Ich vergöttere die Serie, und dann eben diese in Buch-Form zu haben, in der man markieren und kommentieren kann.. unbeschreiblich schön!
