How do the lights work are they battery operated Fluorescent orange reflective and how long should they last?

They are powered by the wheels spinning. They are multi colored, not orange. Not sure how long they will last, but I assume a long time. Pretty sure they are LED lights.

What size to order for a two and a half year old boy with a size 8 shoe?

My son is 6 years old and wears a size 1Y. I got him a small and was tight but I had forgot it does extend so when I did that it fit much better.

Grandson loves them

Like the fact that they are adjustable so he continue to skate as he grows. He just turned 9 and within a couple of hours he was skating pretty well.

Toe Stop Break is not rubber

Our local skate rink won’t let us bring these in because the stopper is plastic and not rubber. I tried to buy replacement stoppers but nothing fit these. They aren’t standard. Bummer. We can’t use them.

Great skates

We got these for our 9 year old daughter and she has been rolling around the house for two days in them. As some other reviews mentioned the bolts being loose, I tightened everything before she put them on her feet the first time. Several of them needed a good bit of tightening. So happy for the tools that came with the skate and how much enjoyment our daughter is already getting. Great skates!
