The material is thick and seems solid enough for my rockhounding hobby, and its just big enough ro carry everything I need. The only thing that could be better if there was a separation inside so I could put my tools on one side and my other stuff in the other, still I am a satisfied customer.

Very well made, tough and useful for any toting needs. I keep it n my car with my survival tools just in case.

Couldn't be better. I tend to have a taste for things that don't exist. Sometimes it turns out that I'm wrong, though. Like this piece. It does exist! Been looking on and off for years for something like this. Maybe I was searching on the wrong terms the whole time. But I don't think so. Nice heavy canvas, seems really well made. Straps are sturdy, wide, and nicely padded. I went with the Upgrade Khaki Big one. Great size. Upgrade khaki small would probably be about the size of the average backpack, not what i was after. This holds a great amount of stuff but isn't huge, either. The large outside zippered pocket is really useful. Only negatives (which is too strong a word here), and this is really nit-picky: the inside pocket flap thingie would be better sewn in sideways. so what you have in there isn't all upside-down when you flip the pocket out, and the small outside pocket is REALLY small. And flat. All that would realistically go in there was a pack of Trident, a bus pass, a few bills and some change, and a key ring with two house keys on it. But these details aren't even close to deal-breakers.

I buy these for my technician's who are up and down on roof tops. They stuff these with their supplies, fall arrest gear etc. and they handle the roughness very well. Easy to use, lots of room. I would recommend these.
