Can Filter 358700 Carbon Filter, 60 inch

Works perfectly, as in stinky air goes in, zero smell comes out. Zero. Well worth the investment.I am blowing air into the unit rather than pulling. To do this, I designed a pre-filter over the end of my duct that cleans particles from the air before entering the duct work and filter unit. I've heard of people stuffing the pre-filter inside the can - sounds like a dumb idea.For the pre-filter I used some chicken wire and made a big cone shape to fit over the end of the duct, then bought a big cheap flat furnace filter from the hardware store, cut the filter out and wrapped it around my wire frame. Air gets pulled in through this.I have it setup like this:air direction >>>>>> homemade pre-filter >>> duct >>> fan >>> can filter >>>> clean air.I left the pre-filter on the outside of the can for the heck of it. Could probably increase air flow if I remove it.I used the Can Steel Flange kit, it easily screws into the can filter.This unit works 100%. If it doesn't work for you check for any air leaks that bypass the filter. Since my filter is installed last in the line this isn't a problem for me, but if you are pulling air through it then it can be.

Heavy duty in every way. I picked this one over the can-lite series cause it has about 20 pounds of carbon filter vs. about 4 pounds in the other. It is extremely HEAVY, and will work perfectly for my application since I am using it on the ground as an air scrubber. Arrived sealed in plastic with all carbon in place, and arrived very quickly. Very positive experience.

Been using these for years, industry standard in my opinion. Reliable, works great, never any problems.

We have this combined with the CanFan 420 and it works AMAZING! Remember to get the flange....we have the 6 inch and was a snap to put on as well. The shipping on the other hand was not good at all but should not affect the review for the item which works incredibly well at scrubbing the air. If you can find local and they will match price, we would recommend buying there as the packing from here was an issue twice and the product was damaged. The first time we returned as it had a hole but the second time we just kept it as it was dented but still works well. Because of our location we may have to try Amazon again and will update if shipping packaging gets better. Fingers crossed.

The filter fell over in the Fedex truck and the resulting puncture permitted the charcoal to spill throughout the truck. Fedex asked if I'd help him carry the item to my porch as he had no dolly and no way to get it off the truck. The filter weighs 150lbs so Amazon hasn't figured out a way to reliably ship this item. I refused delivery and had Fedex return the filter. Amazon was very quick in providing a refund.***** The filter itself is a five star item. I've used one in my shop and replace every 2 years or so. I found this item for considerably less on amazon, but as mentioned they don't ship it properly so I'll have to go back to my old supplier.

I have gotten a few filters through the mail over the years and this was by far the best shipped. Zero dints, hardly any carbon dust, and a quality product. HealthyHarvest did a great job. Will buy again when the time arrives.

Great product been using them for years. Delivery by UPS however was terrible. Filter came in a box twice its size, all banged up. Top was lose, and the external white pre-filter was completely black. Banged around so much in transit it was covered in a very thick black lawyer of soot, inside and out. As a result its blowing soot all over instead of filtering the air. To large to return. Just hoping it stops blowing soot...

The best filter for the price. I use it as a scrubber and inline filter HPS hood cooler vented both inside and out. These filters last years if used on low fan setting and a quality fan.
