Works but need to keep screw tight
Had a pair for work, after a few months the jaws were loose and dyes end up falling out. Loosing screw to put on the jaws to continue crimping. Maybe 750 crimps before failure.

Great crimp tool.
I try not to laugh sometimes when I read reviews. People need to understand what they’re purchasing and how it works. I see reviews on this product from people who don’t understand how to use it, how it can be adjusted or even that it’s a common trapezoid shape. I have no issues with the crimp tool, the shape or how it works. It’s sad how some can leave such negative reviews when they’re actually the problem. I’d recommend this product but please understand what you’re buying, the shape and how it works.

Good Crimpers, wish they actually crimped 2AWG
Pretty good crimpers. They are solid and make a nice crimp, my only gripe in that they say they can crimp 2-4-6 gauge wires but that's not true. I've tried to crimp 2 AWG ferrules on MTW wire and they don't fit it. So these crimpers are really actually good for 4-6-8 gauge, not 2-4-6.

Does Not Make Round Shaped Crimps
Nice enough tool. Crimps smoothly and firmly. But if you want something to crimp ferrules and have them round after crimping, this isn’t the tool for you. Ferrules crimped with this tool end up trapezoidal in shape. Not great for installing into an audio amp, for example. So the tool works fine. It’s just not what I expected. If trapezoid shaped ferrules are ok with you, this is a fine tool for you

Opening the jaws took a long time to figure out
When I got it, I had no idea how to even open the jaws. It literally took half an hour to figure out. No instructions. It turns out you just have to grip it hard until it releases. You feel fear trying this at first because using excess force is typically a way to break things.
