Puede recuperar la BIOS de una placa dañada por una actualización corrupta
En un intento desesperado para recuperar la BIOS de una placa averiada por un fallo en la actualización, compré este programador. El uso es muy sencillo, sólo tienes que conectarlo con el cocodrilo al chip de la BIOS que necesitas leer/escribir. Una vez identificado correctamente tu chip de BIOS, descargar la versión de BIOS que quieres programar y reescribirla. Es cierto que no es una operación para principiantes, si lo eres, te recomiendo buscar información en los foros, antes de probar, y por supuesto, no hacer pruebas en una placa funcional a no ser que estes 100% seguro. Por el precio que tiene aunque sólo lo usé una vez, el resultado fue plenamente satisfactorio.
