I specifically wanted some scales with a bowl for measuring animal feed. These work fine and arrived with batteries. They do take up a bit more space to store than a little platform scale without a bowl, but that’s obvious.

Nice scales
Good size scales, easy to store and clean. Good display and can easily switch between measurement types. The only issue encountered is cannot seem to find a way to reset to zero...so often have to add a gramme onto my measures but not a big issue for me.
