This is a great choice for anyone looking for a true "tool watch". That phrase gets thrown around a lot by watch enthusiasts, and I feel it is overused. To me, a tool watch is a purpose built watch that is made to take a beating Perhaps if you own a bunch of high end luxury watches from Rolex, Omega, Brietling, Longines, ect, a several hundered dollar field watch such a Hamilton Khaki or Bulova Hack, may indeed be your beater watch. But for the average working class person, you're not going to wear either of those examples to go to your blue collar job, work on your car, do repairs in your home, or doing yard work. That's where a watch such as this comes in. It is very comfortable, lightweight, but still able to take a ton of abuse. This isn't the watch that's going to get you compliments from strangers. But what it lacks in looks, it more than makes up for in sheer legibility, dependability, and function. It does on thing: it tells the time accurately, and does so in a very affordable package. I'd definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a hard use beather watch, particularly if your tired of the same old Casio or Timex models, and want to have a micro brand watch that not everyone else is wearing.

Love this watch. It actually looks better in real life than what you see in the picture. Sharp, clean, well-designed face. Light weight. The lum is excellent. I actually decided to look into this watch after reading an article on how tough it is. Very comfortable. Great price. This watch is now what I wear on a daily basis. I am quite happy with it.

I was looking for a watch to work in and not worry about it getting knocked around. I had a titanium Bertucci years ago and always thought it was a good watch. I ordered this one because it was light weight and polymer. The first one I ordered stopped working about two weeks after I got it. Not sure why, battery maybe. Amazon replaced it and this one seems fine. This is a very simple, no frills type watch. Just tells time. It’s perfect for what I need. Hard to go wrong with the classic field watch. It’s not a dressy watch by any means. Function or fashion.

I received the watch yesterday and was impressed with the quality realtive to the price. So far it's keeping time well, almost to the second. The strap feels very heavy duty including the hardware, and it's stiff. At 22mm wide, it almost seems too wide for the watch. The manufacturer notes that it will take a few weeks to break the strap in. Maybe like new shoes? Overall, I think it's a great deal and looks like it will last a long time.
