A must for black templar tabletop players/collectors
Absolutely stunning sculpt if your making a black templar army this is a must reminiscent to that old warhammer art from john blanche simple assembly a super cool model.

Great Black Templar unit
My favorite model I've ever painted. He's god plenty of room for tons of detail without being too much and overwhelming. And a phenomenal addition to any black templar army since it can attach to units already lead by a captain. For the god emperor!

A must have for your Black Templars.
This Black Templar Castellan (LT) is a great addition to my BT collection, I’ve got 2, the first I built as standard & the second I kitbashed a bit with an actual BT upgrade kit power fist, both look great. I added one each to my 2 Combat Patrol Sections of my BT Army sitting between the Marshals (Captain) & the Space Marines in the line up. Not sure why these weren’t added to the Combat Patrols but you got the Marshal instead which is good. The model itself is very detailed as you would expect from GW but without a little kitbashing for example changing the axe for the power fist it sorta looked a bit bland maybe is the word !? Not sure if it’s the angle of the axe or the pose but he looked a bit static, I guess he is a static plastic model but a quick snip & a bit of glue & the power fist looks great, I believe my sons DA LT came with a power fist ? He put one on anyway & that looks great too plus there’s a Black Templar power fist in the BT upgrade kit so I went for it ! Only problem I had was the pauldron, this was in 2 parts & definitely not a standard pauldron but a much cooler skull type, the kitbash did mean the removal of this part by clipping & the only other pauldron large enough was a spare Custodian pauldron from my bits bin, I definitely wasn’t sure about the kitbash at first as it did change the entire look of the model on the left side but once it was all fitted correctly, primed & painted the white pauldron does actually look very good & thankfully looks like it’s supposed to be there, the right shoulder pauldron is still the original & the left side isn’t different enough to be an issue, phew !!! If you collect Black Templars I’m sure you’ve probably already got one of these & if not you won’t regret buying one.
