On the packaging there is a Costco logo with the words "Also available on Costco.com". Darn, I didn't think of checking Costco! Being curious, I went to the Costco.com to check the price. $29.99! Huh?! I paid $9.99! The only difference was the model sold at Costco had lighting cables for Apple devices. I've always owned Android phones so I don't know the general cost of Apple lightening cables vs micro USB cables, so maybe $29.99 is a reasonable price.As far as the quality of the cables, since I've only had the cables a few weeks, I cannot comment on the durability or reliability of the cables and chargers, however, the cables' plugs are made of anodized aluminum.and the cables are aluminum and copper shielded. And, according to the package, the 6 feet long cables have a "protective, tangle-free mesh jacket". I'm not sure how much protection the mesh will provide being the mesh is made of plastic, but it definitely makes the cables look very cool and premium. The wall and car charger appear to be of high quality as the car charger's end is encased in anodized aluminum. I can attest that the chargers and cables provide high speed charging for my Samsung Galaxy phone & tablet, Bluetooth speakers and other electronics.The cons: the cables is pretty stiff and the packaging was extremely frustrating: ! It took a pair heavy duty scissors, a utility knife and some very strong language to remove each item from its plastic cocoon! And as I struggled to opened the package, I had to maintain constant vigil not to slice, cut or gouge the product I was trying to get out.Great premium build, cool appearance and cheaper than Costco? So far, so good.

I purchased this charger set as a replacement for a lost charger and cord. This new set arrived quickly and was securely packaged. I didn't pay too much attention to the length of the cord in the product description so I was quite surprised to find that the charger cord was 6 feet long! This is definitely a great advantage! The longer cord allows me plug into almost any outlet and actually use a device while it is being charged - not so easy with the standard shorter cords! The mesh cover on the cord is fantastic - very sturdy - and you can tell that this product will hold up for a very long time - MUCH better than the standard issue cords that come with devices. I have had several charging cords wear and split at the connections but I cannot see that happening with this cord. This charger and all its components connect easily and securely to my phone, 7 inch tablet, electrical outlets and car power jack. Very happy with this product and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a replacement or spare charging set up.

It got here fast and in tact. The package was a bit hard to open as it's pretty sturdy cardboard with no easy entry. Once opened it seemed odd because it's stiff. It charged my phone in about 30 minutes which was at 50% when I plugged it in so I'm guessing it takes 1 hour. The price was great as I go through a lot of chargers. I figure in a few months when this one dies I'll use the second one and buy another set so I don't have to go days without a charger like in the past or pay $30 for a 2 month charger at a store. I'll leave you guys to make your own decision and I'll update my review to 5 starts if the first charging cable makes it 5 months.Edit: Months later it still hasn't broken or needed to be reordered. I'm very pleased with this product as it exceeded my expectations.

Note that I am a complete cheap idiot when it comes to buying cell phone chargers. Because if I was a smart normal person I would pay a lot of money for the actual "name brand" charger that is specific to my cell phone. But again I am a cheap idiot so I buy a lot of cheap crappy cell phone chargers. But sorry to ramble cause I am supposed to be reviewing this Ubio Labs charger kit. And here goes my brief review! Out of all of the many many many aftermarket cell phone chargers I have purchased over the years this specific Ubio Labs charger kit is by far the absolute best of the best aftermarket charger kit. This kit chargers my LG smartphone in just a few hours, has 6ft braided cords, and has nice snug locking/fitting USB and Micro USB connectors.

I successfully used this to charge two devices simultaneously on a vacation, which was handy. The length of the cords was also valuable. However, the USB side of the cord didn't always fit as well as it should. See how the USB connection sticks out from the camera in the attached photo. Actually, I think the camera always charged, but I often found that my Samsung 6 phone was not charging and I had to keep checking to make sure the USB plug was firmly in the phone. On the other hand, a newer Samsung phone fit the cord very well and charged with no problem, so perhaps there is just a problem with old devices.

I want to put this review here for anyone with a note 5. I was hesitant to order these, because of the fact that the only reviews that mention the note 5 state that it did not charge at fast charge pace. Not true. My note 5 is plugged in right now at 20% and it says 1hr and 19m until fully charged. Also charged my son's kindle fire from 0% to 100% in two hours. That's my kind of fast. These are definitely worth it. One star off because like others have stated, the cords themselves are quite stiff, and it's mildly annoying. Otherwise a great charger. I might buy another one to keep at work.

Have had a few weeks now and it does as advertised. It fast charges my Samsung S6 Active and Amazon Fire 8 Tab in the car and the home plug fast charges my Samsung as well the Amazon Fire and Samsung Tab 3 so I am very pleased. It also fully charges my various bluetooth headphones and speakers rapidly both on the home and with the car charger.. Not sure how it works with other products but for these 3 and various bluetooth items rest assured it does fully charge from nearly dead in an hour or so. The cords are long and not as thick as my 8 ft cord but has so far held up to a 5 yr old stuck to a charging tablet--which involves much moving about in a very small space.
