I'm really impressed with the 3D printing aspect. I bought the 7.1" two color seamless version. The topography is very detailed and it looks great when lit up. The charging port is also the power/color/dimmer button. Tapping it changes color and powers on/off, holding it adjusts light intensity. It looks fine at medium gradient and all the shading details show up well. It is very light to the point of being easy to bump off the stand so a secure untrafficked location is ideal. It would likely be easy to hang it from the ceiling with clear fishing line or such other method. I left it on for six hours the first time , have to test it with different brightnessess but the package claims a maximum of 20 hours on low setting. I purchased the natural two color version because the sixteen color model just seemed ridiculous, but the price was only a few bucks difference, same goes for the seamed or seamless models. Pretty interesting little bit of uniqueness for the home or as a gift for a an astronomy or astrology buff.

Quick charge time, lasts all night, variable brightness, dual-tone light selection(white/yellow). Very good detail of the lunar surface. I like the touch sensitive charging port which takes the place of an on/off button and selector switch all in one. UPDATE: Still working great past 2 and a half years! Keeps a charge ALL night! RE-UPDATE: Dec 2022 Still working like new, still stays on all night!

For anyone that likes the planets or the night sky, this is such a great little light! I thought it would be more cheaply made, but this is not. It makes a fantastic night light or just something neat to look at. Would make a great gift! It holds a charge for about 6 hours, so as a night light, it's perfect. It really looks like the moon and has 2 settings; one is more yellowy and the other is a bright white. The USB charger can plug into the wall adapter or into a computer. For the money, it's a beautiful moon!!
