Great product. Heats up fast, keeps wax warm. Be sure to get some heat resistant gloves so that you don't burn yourself when pouring the wax.

I used this to start making Beeswax pastes. It works well. It's been a little slow to melt stuff lately, but I'm trying to melt at a lower temperature to prevent scorching the beeswax. The biggest problem is that the melted wax tends to get on the outside of the bucket when pouring it. Even after wiping it clean, it still has some wax on the outside that causes it to stick to the melter when cool.

It says it holds 16oz of wax. Unmelted wax I am only able to get 9oz, so you have to add more as it melts which is stupid. For me that doesn't matter because I only make 5 clamshells per 1oz of wax. Each of my cs holds under 2oz. Just beware it is tiny & a bit slow. It's quicker to do the double boiler method.

I absolutely loved it was exactly what I thought it would be, one mason jar fills the pot full, and then once melted I add seven more scoops. Full melted pot makes one mason jar candle. Worked well with a few drops of essential oil, the pot was very easily cleaned. Little to absolutely no chance of being burned. So easy my okder kids could make candles too. I only wonder what the lid is for as I didn't see it in the instructions.

Unless I’m using it wrong, this really takes forever compared to double boiler method. I also expected it to be small but it is smaller than I had thought. It’s fine. I’ve used it once. Will update if anything changes. EDIT: It’s also awkward to pour the wax without burning yourself. I’m returning it.
