Asmodee Arkham Horror The Card Game The Dunwich Legacy Campaign Expansion - Return to The Terror, Lovecraftian Cooperative LCG, Ages 14+, 1-4 Players, 1-2 Hour Playtime

A great addition the the Arkham Horror LCG. The art on the cards is dark and very thematic, very Lovecraftian. The setup is pretty quick, about the same as the base. Replayability is high and every decision makes you nervous, in depth and very fun. I prefer to play this one solo but very fun with a group. The quality of the cards are as usuall durable. The price for the quality and amount of gameplay is an absolute steal. This expansion and the Innsmouth Conspiracy are my favorites.

The cards are of typical FFG high quality. The rules are the same as for the base game. This is n excellent expansion with a great narrative.

Great characters, good story, and plenty of cards to help build a strong deck. One of the more action/fighting centric storylines.

The Dunwich Legacy cycle is one of my favorites because of its connection to the short story Dunwich Horror. The game starts out with Professor Henry Armitage asking for your help to find Dr. Francis Morgan and Professor Warren Rice. This cycle (expansion) is fairly easy especially for experienced players. The gameplay experience is similar to the core box; Dunwich does not add anything significant. That makes this expansion perfect for new players. My favorite investigator is Jenny Barnes with Ashcan Pete a close second. I have had fun playing Rex Murphey and Jim Culver as well. Overall, I enjoyed the pulp feel of the first three scenarios. My favorite being The House Always Wins. Dunwich Legacy is for newer players and/or folks who have read the Dunwich Horror.

This product is where the real Arkham Horror experience begins. If you own the core set (you need to in order to play this game), this campaign will lead on from the introductory one from the core set. The scenarios are fun and memorable plus the artwork is great. There is plenty of replay value too and using different investigators adds new ways to play the game.

This was the first campaign created after the night of the zealot. It is fun. Delivered in good condition .

Dunwich Legacy is a great expansion to the core set but it is not really worth the money as you quickly want the investigators' expansion to go with it. It feels unfinished so you then have to buy another box at £40. The joke is that the game box is half empty, allowing you to add more cards in. It feels like Fantasy Flight is getting very greedy!

I ordered this and received the smaller expansion box that only contains the start of the cycle. No option to swap it for the correct one. Only option was a refund. Then the price goes up in the meantime.
