MXR Ten Band EQ Guitar Effects Pedal

Excellent EQ for both bass and guitar. Wonderful to carve the perfect tone for your instrument. It's absolutely noiseless (compared to other EQs I used in the past). Aluminium case able to take lots of abuse and keep the weight to a minimum. There *one* drawback: the LEDs. I didn't really believe the other reviews stating they were ridiculously bright, but Sweet Juvenile Deity™ bright is an understatement. I'm sure you can get permanent eye damage if you stare at them too long. If you play in a dark stage/venue, it's the only thing you (and your audience) will see. The upside is that if your stage setup requires a blue flood light, this is a cheap and versatile option.

I was deciding between this and a Empress ParaEq with Boost; don't get me wrong, the Empress is an amazing pedal, however you have to really think about it when changing the EQ and setting things up as its all grouped in a non-practical way, on the other hand this pedal has the EQ layout we are all used to, it also comes with a volume control that acts as an atenuator when used in the Effects-Loop. It has lots of head room for each tiny control so you can get the tone you are chasing. The LEDs are super bright and it works perfect under poor lightning.

This is a game changer. Ive been using just my Line 6 Tube head and the stock foot pedal. I wanted to change my sound and get more responsiveness in my tone. I decided to go with this and Wow, what a great difference it made. Ive only had it 2 days so im still playing with it but it is definitely what I was looking for. This is a great EQ. I only wish it took batteries as well as a power cable. But im not complaining.

A great pedal. Needed a way to tweak the sound on my 5 string bass so that the low B wasn't so muddy, but without losing my lows completely. This pedal delivered. The only complaint that you've probably seen in other reviews is that it's REALLY bright. Every single lever on this pedal has a really bright blue LED on them. I'm talking bright enough for the lights to cause visual burn-in after staring for longer than 5 seconds. Seriously; I had to take a black sharpie to the levers to reduce the lumen count. That's enough to dock off one star, since it's hazardous to my eyes to even look at this thing while I adjust it. Great pedal though.

This is essential if you have a peavey 6505mh as someone else also mentioned. Takes the sound from raw (but not bad) to authentic metal tone, using a seagull shape. Also can better control the volume fir home practice without messing with the knobs on the amp.

This is a must have for guitar players. If this thing ever failed I would buy again immediately. I play death metal 🤘

Excelente producto

A little goes a long way. Best feature is the boost. Your tone should be set directly with the Amp and Pedals anyway. This will give you that extra you need to stand out doing leads.

A very good equaliser. A bit expensive perhaps but probably worth it still as the range of sounds is just brilliant. Good as a clean boost, or for my use, putting a bit of sizzle into a flat sounding amplifier. The best Eq that I've ever used. Another good thing is how quiet it is unlike some Eq pedals.

Works great as intended, the really brightLEDs on each slider is a nice touch. that you know exactly where it is set.
