I bought this for my coworker that loves baking and she ADORES it! It's a little expensive, but it's so unique and fun that I think it's worth it.

We have another mitt from this brand that is a favorite so we had to get another. It’s thick, heat doesn’t deep through like others that are now in the trash, and the designs are fun. Would recommend.

Fun and protective oven mitt!

This is a great oven mitt, so hear me out. I’m an avid cook and baker: I bake all our “sandwich” loaf breads and any other breads we desire, plus a ridiculous amount of cookies, cakes, bar desserts, etc- the neighbors love us, plus I was raised by a chef- I take it a step beyond my mom as I have a large garden where we grow a majority of our produce year-round (yes, we are lucky) and take full advantage of each item. I only explain this aspect because we have gone through our fair share of oven mitts. I used to buy the ones from Williams-Sonoma or Sue la Table because they matched other kitchen linens or just out of habit... then I washed them (which is odd because I usually wash things before using them). The WS ones shrunk so much that it was difficult to grip things as they had become so puffy. The SLT ones just fell apart. When I went on to amazon to find the insulated batting to sew up a batch, I thought I’d take a look at what was already made. Blue Q makes kickass socks, ones that I sport regularly when I’m working in the garden and my neighbors get a good chuckle at, so I figured I’d try a few of these bad ladies. Not only are they VERY heat resistant, but they hold up in the wash. They can get scorched, especially when you’re working with something like a Green Egg or Komodo, but that’s because the exterior fabric isn’t the heat-resistant one, it’s the interior one. And yes, they are not a glove, they’re mitts, they work exactly as expected. Honestly they’re superior to the ones from the fancy stores, and they’re less expensive than buying the insulated fabric and then putting another liner over it and quilting it and then adding another cover fabric, plus a good stitch of bias tape around the bottom and time to make them because come on. And it’s always fun to oven the drawer and see something silly when you’re so over making dinner after a long day at work.

Love these! Cute and funny design. Pretty well made for what it is. Not the best quality, but it works. Hubby says they are a bit small for him. And they didn't handle washing very well it seems. After one wash ( followed instructions to the t ) and light use, they already look a bit worn out. But I like them nevertheless. Hopefully they will last some time as I got them to use them. Not as decoration. Will update. Definitely not pink. The mitt is red and beige. They are great gift idea! Just a reminder, as some people seem to be confused... They are not sold as a pair! It is one mitt!

Initially, I had a problem as my order never arrived. The company handled the problem and sent a replacement by recorded delivery. When it finally arrived, I was extremely pleased with the quality of this oven glove. So many oven gloves are flimsy and not fit for purpose, but this one is quilted and protects from burns exceedingly well. I will certainly order oven goves again as gifts!

These cost way too much, but they cost even more when you go into kitschy expensive kitchen store stores. But they’re really thick and they do the job.
