Can I use the brush under the shower and brush my hair when I have conditioner on, or will that damage the brush?

I am looking for a new Mason Pearson brush. I am trying to replace the one I purchased 30 years ago. It is a fabulous brush. I have never used it in the shower but I have used it on wet hair. You do have to dry it out don’t put it in a drawer leave it out with the bristles pointing down to dry out. I love this brush.

Overall length is about 8 1/2 inches. The head is approx 4 1/2 inches.

Is this brush the large, medium, handy, or pocket sized?

Definitely not pocket size. It is either large or medium.
