Expensive, but works great.
Like the title says, it's expensive for what it is- about $15 in parts that you can source and build yourself. But... it's already put together and I didn't have to chase down everything I needed to build something. Basically, I justified the expense as saving time. It worked well at stabilizing the water flow out of my sink though, so for that, it works great.

It required about 15 minutes of fine tuning to settle out but after that I never ...
I purchased the Still Spirits Water Flow Regulator after I bought the Turbo 500. When I was doing my initial research I felt I didn't need a water flow regulator because we are on well water. I was wrong. Just the small fluctuation from the accumulator would change the discharge temp by 20C. This required me to hover over the unit and constantly chase the water flow to maintain an optimal temp. After doing this three times I bought the water regulator. I hooked it up and adjusted the water flow to 350ml per minute as a starting point. I started the boiler and watched as the discharge came up to 60C. It required about 15 minutes of fine tuning to settle out but after that I never touched it. Since your looking at an 8 to 10 hour run, being able to walk away is a big benefit. It's not a "set and forget" item. You still have to monitor the process but while it's running you're not married to it for the duration of the run. I strongly recommend the Still Spirits Water Regulator to anyone using the Turbo 500. It will save your sanity and allow you to produce a more consistent product.

Definitely an improvement
Still have to baby sit it some but is definitely better than working a needle valve. Can be a little touchy but not near as much. I definitely felt comfortable enough to at least walk away for up to 10 minutes and not worry if it was not keeping up. I'd say this is worth it

Should have bought this a long time ago!
I used to have to adjust my needle valve all the time to make up for fluctuations in my home water system. This little pump has made this a non-issue. Love!

Leaks and never shuts off stopped working
It helps a little but not much. I run the t500 with well water which is a very big problem with it being so sensitive. I thought this would solve it. However it never shuts off and it leaks, and still took me an hour to adjust it right. Even after that the temp fluxuated constantly. No on or off switch either. It has to be unplugged to turn off. As expensive as this is i expected better. Ibadvise getting a fish tank pump and using a bucket of water. Thats what im going to try next.UPDATE: This completely quite working after only 7 uses. And now I come back and it's double the price. 100 dollars for something that is unreliable is unheard of.

It leaks
No matter what I do, this leaks from the intake side. Great idea, but poor execution.
