We were pleasantly surprised with the detailed pieces. Required minimal sanding, scraping, or cutting. There were plenty of pieces to both build the figures per the instructions and to allow some customization. This is the type of thing we want our kid to do to break up screen time. Helps build dexterity, patience, and imagination. It was also something he and his father did together.
