I was always sceptical about air-fryers, I don't know why - maybe because they got so much hype? But we finally figured we'd get one to try and see what all the fuss was about. This one got good reviews and it was a lower price (for the capacity) than many others, plus I liked the design and the window to see the food. Wow. This thing is AWESOME!!! It looks like you'd imagine an air-fryer would look if Apple made one (and you know it would be called the 'iFry'). Very modern, very slick, super easy to use interface. I haven't used one without the window but find it really useful to see the food while it's cooking without having to open it so I'm glad we got this model, plus it's a very trusted brand. From reviews I'd seen you can't just go off the "quart" capacity - it's all about surface area with air-fryers so you want plenty of space so the food isn't crowded, which is what makes this one so good (vs others that may be the same or higher capacity, but by having more depth which isn't as good). So far we'd made Chicken Wings, both plain and breaded, and the breaded ones tasted as good or better than the best Fast Food Chicken you've ever had (KFC, Popeyes etc...). We've also made Burssel's Sprouts with Bacon and mmmmn, so delicious. Lots of more things to try making, but so far everything has worked out beautifully and cleanup has been a breeze. So definitely recommended.

Game changer! I didn't know what I was missing until I purchased this. Cooks food so fast, chicken wings and fries are so crispy and so fast. All the fat from the chicken wings falls through the grate, leaving the wings crispy but not fatty. Makes the best grilled cheese sandwiches. Fish and veggies perfect. Haven't tried steak or chops yet but I will. Very easy clean, dishwasher safe but I wash by hand in the sink, everything cleans up easy due to the coating, no scrubbing. I can't say enough about this air fryer, I love it.

Works great, better than my other air frier. Seems more accurate on temp and time than just a turn dial. The reminder beeps I wasn't sure of at first, but have been a great help with the preheat and the turn function, even though you can easily turn them off. Big basket that could feed two to four people depending on what your cooking. MUCH quieter than the cheaper options. Great all around.

I don’t particularly like to cook & sit down restaurants or takeout has been our weekend go-to for many years. I also wasn’t much of a meat eater—-but I’ve used this multiple times per week over the last month. In fact, no restaurants since I’ve had it—and let me tell you THIS THING IS AMAZING FOR MEATS. I’ve cooked pork chops, steak, whole chicken (fits a 4-5 lbs), salmon and I quote my boyfriend: “This chicken is the best I’ve ever eaten…these chops slice like filet mignon…I’m not crazy about salmon but boy is this good.” He’s definitely not complaining about this purchase. I haven’t mastered vegetables yet, though I roasted quartered potatoes in the chicken juices in a small ceramic dish and they turned out great. Also made apple crisp which was very good. WINDOW: I love it, I had a cheap fryer just prior to this which I used a couple of times and was constantly sliding out the drawer to check on doneness so for me, the window was a must—for example when I’m melting cheese on naan bread (yum) I want to see how brown it’s getting. BASKET SIZE: interior is square 9.5 x 9.5 so you can fit just about anything in here—I cook 2 decent sized steaks at the same time, fits a 4-5 lb chicken. I prefer the square shape to round, I believe you can fit more & more versatile— I can usually use my regular square pans for desserts. I didn’t need to buy any special accessories to fit in it, except heat resistant rubber tongs & silicone mat to put under pans so as not to scratch the interior cooking plate. I LOVE the turn reminder, and the preheat cycle is ok too, though I’ve heard some people prefer without it—regardless it’s no big deal. I highly recommend this fryer and I hope it lasts a good while. It’s been one of my better kitchen appliance purchases ever— I even convinced an extended family member to buy one. Note: I also have a dual basket from another maker since my SO and I don’t currently live together, and though it also works very well, it’s not as convenient as this single square basket type. I LOVE THIS FRYER and would not hesitate to buy it again.

I really love my new air fryer and have been using it almost every day. I can cook small meals for 2 easily without using the oven, which is great in this heat wave. Food really does come out tasty and moist, with only a minimal use of fat - a short spray of oil is usually enough. One downside is that it doesn't come with any real instructions or recipes, so there's quite a bit of experimenting. I do find that things generally do not need quite as long or as high a temperature as most recipes indicate. Using a good food heat probe is a must. Still, it didn't take long for me to be making the best wings and the tastiest shrimp I've ever cooked. Cleanup is easy- a soak in hot soapy water and a quick scrub is all it needs. I scrubbed everything several times before the first use and didn't encounter the plastic smell others have mentioned.
