Extending 35 inches from your vehicle, it securely holds patio umbrellas with shafts between 1-3/8” and 2” diameter using adjustable bushings and knob screws. Perfect for tailgating, camping, and outdoor events, it offers durable, rust-resistant support to keep you shaded wherever you go.

## Description

Constructed with durable, power-coated steel, our MaxxHaul umbrella holder allows you to mount a patio umbrella that provides instant shade for all your tailgating, traveling and other outdoor events. The holder can easily mount to any standard 2” class III and IV receiver hitch with a 5/8” hitch pin, accepting umbrellas with a 1-3/8” – 2” diameter shaft. Although it is compatible with most tailgates, there are pre-installed reducer bushings to accommodate modifications. Depending on the size of the shaft of your umbrella, the bushing can easily be removed or replaced. For shafts smaller that 1-3/8” – 1-1/2” in diameter, leave the reducer bushings in. For shafts larger than 1-1/2” in diameter, the bushing can be easily removed. Hitch extends 35” from the hitch pin.

**Q: Is it long enough to open a truck bed?**
A: I have a 2019 Ford F150 & a 2012 Dodge Ram , The umbrella holder hitch works fine on both trucks, the tail gates are several inches from both 
when they are lowered.

**Q: Is it long enough to allow for opening an SUV rear hatch?**
A: Yes, for me.  WAY more than enough for my UTV.

**Q: What is the extra threaded holes and bolts for**
A: Put the 2 pieces of square umbrellas extension together and bolt together. If you don’t have room to store like that take apart for storage

**Q: Is it long enough to open a truck bed?**
A: Not sure about a truck tailgate but I can open the hatch on my suburban.
