It works with anything- obviously you don’t want to scratch it, but we’ve used a smooth pen cap, finger, other random toys lol. My four yr old and 17 month old love it **Q: Does anyone know how to put the stylus holder back in the slot? My daughter has only had this for two hours and just pulled it out.😩** A: Send it back. **Q: How do you change the color as you are drawing?** A: Hi, When you draw, it changes colors on its own. You are not able to set a specific color. You can just draw and delete and draw again. 😉 **Q: The instruction manual says harmful substances present in pcb and pcba pad pb and hg. what does this mean? are there toxic substances in this product?** A: Who knows.
