The Redemption of Time: A Three-Body Problem Novel

If you’ve seen the recent adaptation, it’s confusing to follow at first (several character changes) especially if your not a Chinese speaker (though the translator made lots of footnotes explaining some things which was very helpful. Once you’re “into” the books, there are many interesting ideas that differ from the standard “space alien” saga/story that sets the story apart in that genre: very well thought out and compelling! If you’ve seen the original Chinese TV series (that covers the first book), the show stays very close to the book: the newer adaptation pulls from the first and second books (which I think will work across that series as it is produced). There’s one terrible mistake in astronomy concerning the alien homeworld, but if you just ignore that (it is science fiction after all and it’s central to the story’s plot, so it’s forgivable) as a whole it’s engrossing and you won’t be unsatisfied.

Livro muito bem escrito, mantém o mesmo estilo e amarra muitas pontas soltas da trilogia, deixando ainda muito espaço para a imaginação!

Although I'd seen some criticisms posted on some websites before reading it, I was so excited and it was worth reading except the ending.
