Great graphics plus original text excerpts
What I enjoyed most, besides the graphics, is that they use excerpts from the original text (Orwell's 1984) and do not rephrase his work.

Un clásico
Un clásico ; un poco difícil la lectura que está en inglés británico ; pero si eres bilingüe no tendrás problema .

Excellent interpretation that sometimes adds extra impact to Orwell's original text
It's already a powerful story and I wasn't sure what a graphic novel approach would bring to it but I'm glad I bought this and although it's not in my favourite graphic style, it's very effective. And the necessarily truncated script has been well chosen and in some cases makes Orwell's thoughts and quotable quotes more accessible than in the original text. Strongly recommended.

A good update for the modern times.
A great book turned into a much more digestible format. I was a kid when I first read 1984, but even now in my 30s I just honestly don't have the attention span anymore to read deep books. I saw this graphic novel version of the story online and decided to give it a go, and it's been awesome. Decent artwork, nothing you can compare to modern comics but it's still good. I will say this book is still very text heavy; just because it's sold as a graphic novel doesn't mean it's just small speech bubbles here and there. There's still very much a lot to read, the addition of visuals just really help paint the story.
