They never touched the futon again. I just upgraded to a. Small sectional with ottoman and luckily, I had some of these left over. I was able to cut them to the sizes I need to cover every corner of the couch/ottoman as well as the back of couch. As you can see in the pictures, they’re barely noticeable. Unless you touch them with your hands or your leg bumps it (or you have long hair, which I do and it sometimes sticks to the tape if I’m not careful) you won’t know it’s there BUT the cats know it and they DONT SCRATCH. Unfortunately for me, they’ve found the parts of the couch I didn’t tape but, that’s a cat problem, not a product problem 😅 highly recommend. The adhesive is phenomenal but things like our couch throw and pillow have gotten stuck to it.
