UPDATE! THEY FIXED IT! It’s not a proper ArtNet Node.
UPDATE: Vshow has released a V2 that will properly hold the dmx value of the last artnet packet. The unit works great!! Please look at the posed video I have created for a quick review. https://youtu.be/CcrDrIXwysIPREVIOUS RESPONSE (V1): This was sort of my mistake in buying the product however this must be informed. The unit is labeled as an ArtNet merge. While this is technically true, it isn’t. I was expecting that this node would hold the DMX value if ArtNet packets were not being sent. This was not the case. After 3 seconds of no ArtNet packet data. The unit would turn off all channels and return to 0. This is because if another ArtNet signal in port 2 was being sent it would switch over. If there’s no ArtNet packet being set however (like a stationary look) it will shut off within 3 seconds. There is no hold DMX function which made me return the unit and opting for another ArtNet node without any merge function.

Works fine as splitter/node, does not merge as claimed
Some similar units are capable of merging inputs via HTP/LTP but this one is not. There is no technical reason this unit couldn't do that and the description is ambiguous about it's actual capability. Some verbiage on their website for this product suggests that it can, soI asked a seller question on here to make sure:"Does this support htp merging of universes? input artnet + dmx port a, output dmx port 1 with both inputs combined together?"I was very glad when the manufacturer/seller replied right away with "yes". So ordered one. I was not very glad when I got it setup and found that it cannot merge. Each DMX output can be switched individually to replicate one of the physical DMX inputs or an Artnet universe, but, not both at the same time. I sent this back and got a DMX King device which does what I want. This powers up and does split DMX, so if all you need is a DMX splitter with Artnet input capability, this is cheap and seems to work for that. Just don't believe the seller's answers.
