How long do batteries last with stars lights?

They seem to die out easily; so, not long at all.

Can you connect strings of lights together? I need enough to go around 10x10 and 10x20 tents

they are 20 feet long. You may need two strings.

How far away does the remote work?

I have no idea. I bought the Star lights (battery) for Christmas time. Absolutely love them!
