Love this awesome Bible Journaling guide. It has 270 stickers, 150 designs, and 60 designs on translucent vellum. Tells you simple ways to use pencils, stencils, washing tape, acrylic paint and rubber stamps. So many incredible ideas.This truly is the complete book on Journaling and I can't say enough good things about it. A great value for the money.

Wow!!! This book is chock full of ideas and instructions for Bible journaling. I bought a book previously on the same topic and was so disappointed that it had mostly words and few images; not this book--it even has step-by-step pictures for the instructions! It has summaries of different artists and how they do their journaling and one of them is one of my favorite designers. I had no idea that Shanna Noel started the idea--I have been buying her paper, sticker, and card stock designs whenever I see something I like and love them. The two authors do a great job covering everything one needs to know. The stickers and art work designs in the back of the book are terrific! There are pages of vellum designs, designs on regular paper, and alphabet sticker. The stickers are a little larger than I want to use but I'm sure others would find uses for them. There are also sicker books of the Bible tabs in beautiful colors. I'm so glad I bought this book; after the disappointment of the other book I bought previously I almost gave up finding a good one. I can recommend this book to anyone who wants to begin or improve their Bible journaling experience.

I have never done any Bible journaling, but I recently became interested in giving it a try - the problem was, I didn't know where to begin. I found this fabulous book on Amazon - "Complete Guide to Bible Journaling: Creative Techniques to Express Your Faith" by Joanne Fink & Regina Yoder. Truly, this is an amazing reference book - $13.38 and Prime Shipping and in 48 hours you are ready to begin. There are six sections: Getting Started (which tells you how to begin and helps you choose the kind of Bible to use); Tools and Techniques (12 different techniques, including page prep); Artist Profiles(a few pages telling the story and showing examples of the styles of each of the women, including the "founder" of this, Shanna Noel); a Gallery (shows examples out of the Bible, in the Bible and different styles); Resources and Index (gives artist websites, various social media groups, including Facebook and Instagram); and at the very end a Bonus section with tabs, stickers, traceable patterns and more. I have long admired Joanne Fink's lettering style; she is not only instructional but inspirational. This is the most complete book on the subject that I could imagine.For those who would ask "Why Bible Journal?" the best answer is found on Valerie Sjodin's profile pages "it's this experience of meetings, between God and self and between word and image, that makes Bible Journaling irresistible..." There are also constant reminders to find your own method of expression, your own personal style and the images in this book are very helpful in showing me what I like and what I don't like. Now it's time to pick a verse, spend some time with God through it and see where that journey takes me. To me, Bible Journaling is a way to spend more time with God and deepen my faith. I recommend trying this excellent book for yourself - something inside it will send you off on your own creative discovery; I promise.

Great value and I *HIGHLY* recommend for those new to Bible Journaling. If you "Look Inside" via Amazon's tool some of the information is a bit basic. The hidden gem of this hardcopy book (NOT the Kindle version) is that more that 1/3 of the book is filled with stickers, vellum cut outs/tip-ins and traceable art. Just for that third of the book alone it is worth the price. The traditional book part is valuable too with down-to-earth instructions for beginners with great photographs. There is also a good section with "interviews" of different bible journaling artists. I bought this mainly for the stickers, etc. but I am extremely pleased with the entire book. This would also make a wonderful gift.

I was expecting more about journaling, not just doodling, painting and basic creative fun. However, this is a great book for creative souls in general - not just Bible related.
