Ladies it come with a list of words for kids to spell?

Sorry, I didn't answer your question correctly. There is no list, each player chooses a secret word up to 8 letters and then collects the magnetic letters that make up the word and hides them in their hand. That player then places a blank magnet for each letter of the secret word on the game board, etc.

Are both sides of this magnetic?

NO! Just one side. Which makes this useless in the car. As soon as they’re flipped over they slide everywhere and can get lost.

the advertisement says that you get 18 blue markers and 18 red ones, yet the boards have 25 squares each???

We have had this game for years and play it often. We have never needed more then the provided magnetics.
