The Tao of Tea, Pearl Green Tea, Loose Leaf, 4.0 Ounce Tin

I started drinking green tea about three months ago. This tea has a nice and smooth flavor. I don’t let it brew over 2 1/2 minutes, or else it gets too bitter.

This was a really good, yummy green tea. I've never tried loose leaf tea until now but I really adored this tea. The flavor was yummy and full, with that vague smoky tone everyone mentions really rounding it out. The caffeine level isn't too crazy high so it doesn't hurt my anxiety, and a cup of this is soothing to me. I make sure to not genuinely boil the water so it doesn't get bitter as some people have warned happens easily with green tea. Then I add a bit of honey to sweeten it out, which makes it super delicious and calming. I also like it iced or hot. I can steep the leaves twice and still get a great brew. The first time I steep it, I drink the hot cup, and save the other cup to drink iced later on. It seems like such a waste to not make another cup when the leaves steep just as well the second time. I've never tried it a third, but yeah. I also throw in the peppermint leaves from the same Tao of Tea brand and it brightens the flavor a bit, giving it a very lovely taste. It's especially refreshing iced, and settles the tummy when hot. It's great with food. All in all for the first loose leaf brand I tried, I'm super satisfied. Plus I think it's just plain cool how the leaves unfurl the way they do, although it does tend to fill up my little infuser quite easily haha. Would recommend it for a good, all around green tea, especially for a first time loose leaf drinker.

These are like pearls, expanding as they steep. And only 1 tsp for a cup, these will last forever! Delicious Chinese-sourced green tea, makes other brands seem overpriced. Can't wait to try all the varieties. No more bags for me!

I've been trying different looseleaf green tea. It has become so expensive, and you never know what the quality will be like. So I tried this in the 4 ounce. One person stated in the review that the container was so wonderful. At the time, I thought it was a silly comment. I was so wrong! The container is absolutely wonderful! And be advised, the tea does not have a rich, wonderful scent, however, the tea has a rich wonderful taste. It's just a little on the pricey side.

This tea has a nice, mild green tea flavor. The flavor barely diminishes when the leaves are used for the second cup. I was disappointed with the Vahdam Himalayan Green, so I'm very glad I found this!

When the tea arrived I immediately thought what a pretty tin. Then I opened the cover and was so surprised to see another tin cover inside, double sealing the tea for freshness. The tea had a lovely aroma and made a wonderful cup of green tea.

I have been shopping around for a good value organic green tea. I like to drink green tea every day for the health benefits. I love the flavor of this tea! I’ve been drinking it iced or hot and loving it! I also like that leaves are mostly in a ball shape because it makes them easier to handle and not as messy. Love that it’s organic too!!

This tea was enjoyable in flavor and aroma and seemed to be better quality than what is offered at my local supermarket. When I inspected the tea, I found no major stems which was great. The value for the money seemed to be what you would expect for loose leaf. The tea container that I recieved was different than the container shown and definitely gave the impression that it is a lower quality product. If you can get the container shown in the product listing, it would make for a great gift for coworkers and colleagues.
