Ofc it’s marketed for hair items but really you can use it however you please. I use it for hair & makeup items but could also see how someone could use it in a car shop or something if they wanted something smaller for smaller tools etc. Clean look and overall very pleased. I think it has wheel locking, but I don’t remember because I usually like to have it rolling so I can move it close to my vanity when I need it and then push it back and it’s place when I’m done with it and lock it up.
