I like having air through the window, but rain or wind sometimes makes it annoying to have a window down even an inch. These allow me to drop my window two inches and not worry about rain coming in or wind whipping my hair. I get the fresh air I like anytime, and they look good as trim on a door. These were similar to all others I have had, easy to put on with the included glue strips, and they are strong enough to last a long time, many years without being purposely damaged. I love them, I don't see many people who have them, but you would like them if you tried them. They are not expensive, and they give your vehicle a small visual uniqueness. Nice stand-out in a parking lot with a row of similar vehicles.
