Into the garbage it goes
Doesn't work! Has never worked, but I was too lazy to return it. Initially (at least) it opened the wine OK, but the "trick" for removing the cork from the corkscrew DIDN'T work... I had to remove the cork from the screw manually (hopefully without poking myself)!Now... less than 3 months after buying it... it doesn't even remove the cork from the bottle. Into the garbage it goes!

Looks super great. Works really well. Haven't had any issues with using it on a variety of bottles. Worth the price!

Very hard to use. The screw does not enter the center of the cork. Would not order again.

This is the best wine opener I have ever owned.
I had an electric opener that worked ok, as long as I kept it charged. But it had problems opening some wines especially a Moscato D'Asti that we enjoy. The foil cutter leaves something to be desired, the stand comes in handy and the opener works like a champ. It does not require a Hercules to operate and does not cause spills. Showed it to some friends and they could not believe how simple it was, and how easy the cork came out. (They all looked like a scene from the movie "Quest for Fire", when one cave man produced fire in front of his clan) ;-)

Alright
I had a Pinzon that worked great for about 7 years when a sprocket popped off from the lever. Bought this as a replacement. It is exactly the same design but feels a little more wiggly than the Pinzon and the reverse cork removal is not as guaranteed. That said the base is crap so I kept the Pinzon base, put the foil cutter from this one in the slot on the pinzon bas and tossed the pinzon and the base that came with this one. Win Winnish
