These marzipan fruits are one of my favorite treats. I have them set up for Subscribe & Save. I did get one shipment that was a bit dry, but I think that was because the temperature was all over the place during shipment. They were not past the expiration date. All other deliveries have arrived fresh. I have included a picture of the nutrition information for 1 piece, which I calculated on MyFitnessPal using the nutrition information from the package. The package lists a serving size equivalent to 3 and 1/3 pieces, which is not very helpful. I gave 3 stars for the “giftable” rating, because the pieces tend to get tossed around during shipment. If you plan on giving this as a gift, you will need to remove the plastic wrap and adjust the pieces. Whoever wrote the description must not be familiar with the product. They aren’t fruit flavored, they don’t contain fruit juice, and the package states they provide 0% of the daily value for vitamin C.

I didn’t expect them to be fruit flavored because when you look at the ingredients list pictured there’s nothing that indicates added flavoring even though it says it’s fruit juice flavored in the description. It wasn’t a problem for me as I really just wanted the cute marzipan treats. However, a few were banged up and kind of mushed out of shape from shipping. Again, I wasn’t too concerned about it because it happens and I was going to eat it anyway. My PROBLEM was the yellow colored marzipan shaped like lemons. I do not know what they put in the food coloring but whatever it was made it taste like I was eating nail polish someone attempted to turn into candy. That was not fun. Luckily, there were only 2 in my box-just enough to test and see if it was just a one-off. Nope, the yellow ones are terrible and are the only reason I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars. If you’re familiar with marzipan then you’ll more than likely enjoy these overall. They are a bit on the sweeter side but I think the added sugars just help them have a little more crisp edge on them that holds the little fruit shapes better than if they’d had less sugar in them.

This is sadly not what I was looking for and the taste of these candies are absolutely terrible. Everyone is different, so they might be a good fit for someone else.

I was a bit disappointed in this marzipan in that it is harder than any other marzipan fruit I've had in the past. I thought maybe because it was cold outside and they needed to soften up in the house. Not so. They still remain almost stale, but they have not expired so that's not it. The color is pretty but they are very sweet and do not have much of a almond taste. I am glad so many others have enjoyed theirs, but for me, I'm going to try another company.
