TAMAGOTCHI 42904B2 Pix Green

Amei

A fun little Tama that you don't need to connect with others for gameplay! It works with a catalogue of QR codes, which you scan with the camera, thus you don't need a second Tama or a friend next to you with one to get the best out of the toy. It is suggested to get rechargeable batteries as with a lot of camera use, the batteries can drain quickly. Thus far I have gone 7 days without needing to change them. As for the 'next gen Tamagotchi', it's pretty basic in its gameplay. The daily rotation of games to play does keep it less stale, yet I feel like the Adult stays around for a while when I'm already ready to move on to my next Tama. It's a bit of a downgrade from the Tamagotchi ON, though at a fraction of the price, it's still worth the investment IMO.

The kids like it but the battery needs to be changed daily!! Which is annoying.. but its cool and nice

If you haven’t played since the Connection era or even original, you might be surprised at how bulky this new one is. The touch buttons take a little bit of getting used to but they do add a lot more interactivity to the v-pet as a whole. The camera also adds more fun, especially in connectivity with other tamagotchi owners, and I do find myself trying the Explore and Cook functions in particularly when I go to new places. It doesn’t have the gene passing down of the Mix/Meets/ON era, but the included characters are just as fun. Would recommend for any fan of Tamagotchi, though investing in rechargeable AAA batteries would be a smart move!

This was bought for a friend as a little gift. Needless to say she loved it. She’s been taking care of her little tamagotchi all week. Make sure to have good batteries.
