I bought a controller to use on my PC and wanted to use it wirelessly, however when I tried to pair the controller to my PC I realised I actually didn't have BT, it was suggested to me that I buy a BT Receiver, I looked at many until deciding to get this one, it's literally perfect, I plugged it straight into the 3.0 USB port at the front of my computer, went into Bluetooth settings and there it was, paired my controller instantly, no issues, I also like how small it is, you can barely even notice it when plugged in which is great as I placed mine at the front and not the back, don't feel as if I could knock it or catch it one anything. Overall it's great and did the job at a much cheaper price than many others I looked at, nothing to fault.

Excellent little dongle, connected without issue to my shokz headset. Has not been tried for Comms like Teams or discord yet but it's fine for listening to YouTube on the PC which had no Bluetooth. Took some research to get the right dongle and this 5.1 dongle works.

I think that Windows Update would have installed the correct drivers, but I have it nuked on this install. The drivers uploaded to the brand's website didn't work for me. At some point I took the cover off to check the chip and it is indeed a Realtek RTL8761b. Ultimately I found that the "Realtek Semiconductor Corp. - Bluetooth - 1.9.1051.3000" drivers listed on the Microsoft Update Catalog were the correct drivers for the device, and installed them through Device Manager. Other than that issue, this is a good low-cost adapter that supports a modern standard.

i bought a pair of headphones with this to edit music, perfect product a basic plug and play absolutely no lag all, handles range and multiple devices couldnt be happier. btw i got Rebocico Wireless Headphones, 6 EQ Modes,Headphones Wireless, 65 Hours Playtime Foldable Lightweight Bluetooth Headphones Over Ear with Built-in HD Mic,Deep Bass, FM, SD/TF for PC/Home to go with, together they are a power house and dont feel budget at all 10/10

I have tried quite a few Bluetooth dongles and headphone combinations over the years, but have always been disappointed with them. This is due to my main use for them being watching stuff on TV or my projector - and I always found the audio lag to be unacceptable. I seem to be particularly sensitive to this and could not get away with Bluetooth headphones. I found a good solution a while back on Amazon in a set of FM digital headphones - which did not have the "hiss" of analogue FM ones, and a barely perceptible lag. These were literally music to my ears. They are still working fine, but getting a bit shabby and have the disadvantage that if I want to feed them with a different audio source, it means plugging the wire to the transmitter into another device's 3.5mm audio socket. I regularly use them for football commentary on the radio so I can go to the toilet and not miss a goal - unlikely as that is for a Hartlepool United supporter..! Finding a new set is proving difficult, and very expensive if you do find a pair. So I took the plunge with Bluetooth again after reading good things regarding lag using Bluetooth 5.0 and upwards - and purchased this dongle and a pair of headphones from Amazon. Result..? Back of the net...!!! Any lag there might be is imperceptible to me, and finally I can use them for TV, films and YouTube with BT headphones. I also now have the convenience of simply pairing my headphones with other devices rather than unplugging a wire and shoving it in another socket. Range is not important to me as I am usually in the same room so I haven't had any problems with this product, and along with the headphones it has made me one happy chappy..!

As the headline says the range is low, sure you can go to 30meters but if you go any further then lets say 10 meters then the quality drops and starts to stutter and/or lag. Also if there is even 1 layer brick wall in between you and the device it lags as well same as the distance and takes a while to get back normal.

Does what it says on the tin. Simple to use and effective

Was perfect when it worked, now after 8 months of light use has stopped working, just before it became faulty it was recognized at boot up 50% of times, this gradually became worse the last 2 weeks. Did expect it to last much longer as my old bluetooth dongle never failed, just got old.

This little adapter works with my wireless earbuds on Windows 10 and I didnt need to install the driver they included on a little CD. If you dont have a cd drive, they include a link to the driver in a dropbox. I didn't need it though. I can walk around my house and my earbuds still work, I dont know if thats due to the earbuds or this adapter or both, but the range seems quite good.
