These fit perfectly in a pocket sized traveler's journal like the Louise Carmen Ernest! Love them! The paper weight is great, and is good for regular pens, fountain pens, and even markers and highlighters.

This paper is AMAZING!! I’ve yet to find a “Field Notebook” that could stand up to the fountain pens I like to use. Even tried some 1.1 stubs on this paper…..no bleed through. That’s from the dry Parker Quink to some wetter Diamine’s like Sargasso Sea. I did try some Watermans Blue, but it’s a well behaved anyway. The texture is not too far from rhodia or Mnemosyne. It’s almost identical in feel to MD notebook paper if your familiar with that brand. Very smooth but doesn’t have that plasticky type feel to it. Side note: I did entertain the Pilot G2 with the .7 line on this paper,….. no issues as expected. Three things about quality that might bother some people in case you overlooked it or it’s not in the product listing: 1). The cover is a super cheap Kraft paper. I keep mine in a case, so the cover doesn’t matter. But if your ecpecting the name brand type covers that are waxed heavy duty, this is absolutely not it. 2). The cover and paper are stapled together for the binding instead of stitched. Still lays flat enough for me, and is holding up well with ZERO signs of coming apart. 3). The corners are square and not rounded. If that’s an issue for you, they sell “corner rounders” that can trim the corners off neatly to look like the name brands. They are available here on Amazon if you decide to go that route. I can’t find anything close to this quality for the price. And for the number of sheets in each notebook being basically double of the name brand …….and 6 notebooks vs 3 for $10?? Five stars for me!!!
