Litcessory Cut-End to Cut-End Extension Connector for Philips Hue | Micro 6-Pin, 50mm, 4 Pack, White. Not compatible with Flux.

These worked great for installing my Hue LED strip around a couple corners. Didn't realize I would need these, and they aren't included with the Hue strip. Glad I could get them so quickly.

Good connectors they helped with my needs

Once connected, they do perform the task.However,1) there are no instructions on the package or at the link in the QR code on the package2) the FAQ tells the user to be certain to attach the connector on the back side of the strip, where the adhesive is, which is insulative, or at least not conductive. The connected strip(s) does not light up.3) once the user figures out that they are in fact supposed to ignore the FAQ and slide the open connector into the plastic cover to connect it to the obvious pins for connection on the light side of the strip, they will find that (at least in my experience) 1 connector out of every bag of four does not connect correctly, needs to be left open as a result, and/or must be coerced into sending the right color by adjusting its angle or merely pushing straight down on the connection periodically while the lights are on so the user knows when the problem is fixed if one is lucky enough to have the connection be the right color after closing the door.If the user manages to get this far, the lights continue to function normally as though they had never been cut until the lights are touched, the object they’re attached to is touched, or any other situation you can imagine that might disturb a weak connection.So, if I were to give advice on how to successfully use this product, assume at least a 25% failure rate when purchasing so that you will have enough connectors to account for quality issues, and then enjoy your well routed lights.

This product was perfect for my phillips hue light-strip. Simply cut and slip on. Worked very well for all the cuts I had to make.

I read some old reviews which says you need to cut the hue light strip in weird ways, no you don’t have to! Just follow the cut mark and it’ll work with no problem.

These things are really slick and work well. It is important to get the right version for the lights you have as they are not interchangeable

Easy to use for the project but if you have time and are good at soldering, just solder Cat5 to the terminals on the led.

Only needed one of the connectors but could only find this 4 pack. Very expensive for one.

Perfect solution

This product is very easy to use. I highly recommend for the HUE lightship. Simply cut the stirp and push these on, no cutting the rubber back.

I had a break in a Hue Lightstrip. I cut the broken part out and crimped the cable back together with these clips.The instructions were a bit confusing though. I think there needs to be a bit more clarity for the docs on their website as I wasn't sure which instructions to follow exactly.

Wer Philips Hue LED Strips verwendet, wird häufig kurz oder lang vor dem Problem stehen, mehrere Strips miteinander verbinden zu wollen. So war’s auch bei mir.Philips liefert in einigen seiner Sets Verbinder mit. Das sind wenige Zentimeter kurze Kabel mit Anschlüssen, um die Strips miteinander zu verbinden. Es geht allerdings jeweils nur am Ende beziehungsweise am Anfang eines Strips. Dazu kommt, dass insbesondere, wenn man die Strips dicht miteinander verbinden will, die mitgelieferte Verbindung unter starken Druck steht, weil das Kabel wenig flexibel ist, und dann über kurz oder lang die Kontakte abbrechen. So war’s auch bei mir.Alle 33 cm kann man einen Philips Hue LED strip der vierten Generation aber kürzen. Schere oder scharfes Messer und fertig. An diesen Stellen braucht man nun den hier rezensierten Verbinder - beziehungsweise es sind vier Stück im Set. Auch von Philips gibt es solche Verbinder, die allerdings zur Zeit meines Kaufs nicht frei erhältlich waren sondern nur in einigen Sets enthalten waren.Das Produkt hier kommt aus China. Also wahrscheinlich nicht sehr viel anders wie auch die Produkte von Philips. Man erwartet also nicht zwingend zu viel.Überrascht war ich festzustellen, dass diese Verbindung genau das halten, was sie versprechen. Ohne jegliches Problem konnte ich LED Streifen, die ich zuvor mit einer Schere an den korrekten Stellen geschnitten hatte, miteinander verbinden.Es gab weder etwas Großartiges zu beachten, noch brauchte ich mehrere Anläufe, noch war es irgendwie schwierig. Eine Anleitung kommt nicht mit. Ein rudimentäres Verständnis von Funktion und Aufbau eines LED Strips ist aber vollkommen ausreichend. In der Produktbeschreibung gibt es etliche Bilder und kleinere Anleitungen dazu.Die wichtige Hinweis, die man immer geben muss: Die Verbinder funktionieren nur, wenn sie unter Druck stehen. Dieser Druck wird erzielt, in dem man die Verbinder zuklappt. Dazu ist einige Kraft erforderlich. Dann jedoch funktionieren die LED Streifen, die miteinander verbunden sind, hervorragend.Nun kann man sich sicherlich darüber streiten, ob der Preis für vier Stück diese Verbinder in irgendeiner Form gerechtfertigt ist. Die Herstellungskosten für diese Verbinder sind minimal. Die Verkaufsmarge ist dagegen maximal.In Anbetracht dessen, dass es diese Verbinder allerdings so nicht von Philips zu kaufen gibt, die allenfalls im Set mitkommen, ist der Preis aber erklärbar. Angebot und Nachfrage. Und die Nachfrage ist relativ hoch.Fazit: Der Preis ist sicherlich unangemessen hoch. Das führt bei mir jedoch nicht zum Sterneabzug. Jeder muss selbst wissen, ob er bereit ist, für ein solches Produkt diesen Preis zu zahlen. Die Funktion des Produkts ist einwandfrei. Sie steht in dem nur sehr schwer erhältlichen Original von Philips in keiner Weise nach. Folglich kann ich hier ehrlich und offen eine volle Kaufempfehlung geben.
