Excellent jump rope, adjustable. Feels nice in the
Had used a buddies jump rope just like this, saw it out specifically. Adjusted it as the instruction said, to my height. Works in great, handles feel heavy in your hands, swivel as well. Highly recommend.

Good quality! but not for beginners
So to give a little background I've jump roped quite a bit I used to train in a boxing gym and we trained jump rope every training day, I wouldn't consider myself the Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao of jump rope, But I'm decent, and I've used many different weighted and Speed ropes in the past, that said the first time I tried this particular speed rope it was a very different experience, the handles have the perfect weight to them and overall it seems like a good quality product, however the cable itself is way too light which is great if you're a professional or you're up for a challenge, I'm personally only using this now because it's difficult and that's what drives me, but if I was new to Jump rope or looking for a rope to just exercise and do basic foot work exercises with I wouldn't buy these and I wouldn't recommend them to others simply because the cable is way too light and requires a lot of input and you shouldn't have to put that much effort into just moving the cable the objective is coordination and foot work. And If you're starting out You don't want all the effort put into just keeping the cable moving I can do some tricks with a standard speed rope, I can jump rope forward or backward one foot at a time, both, running, skipping, crossing etc but this one is much harder because when you try to cross or switch things up the whole cable will react because it's just not heavy enough and the only way to help mitigate that is to put even more Input and speed into the rope to keep it's momentum up which would make these nearly impossible for a beginner and that's really my only complaint otherwise the adjustability the ergonomics and the bearings are all great features. if you're already a pro looking for another rope or you're up for a challenge It's a good deal for only $15If you're new to jump rope, or You're just looking for exercise and a little foot work I wouldn't recommend these.

Very high quality materials, great feel
I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of build and materials. This has a just right feel to it. You know how sometimes you pick up a product and it just feels right? This has that feel. It is very quiet, smooth, balanced, fast, comfortable. Very nice product.

Worst jump rope ever
As you can see from the photos the handles came loose from the rope. The handles screw together with the rope. The jumping motion with your hands rotates these out. This is the second one, the first was replaced I figured it was just a bd one. Not the case the design is horrible.

You get what you pay for
I am a swim coach and mother to competitive athletes. We have a fairly extensive home gym, and I carry a dryland bag for my team. This (for those are not aware) is lightweight workout equipment so the team can do HIT training and stations (bands, ab rollers, jump ropes, cones, ladders, etc). The equipment has to be well made to stand up to heavy use, but also light weight so I can carry the bag. This is easily one of the nicest jump ropes I have tried and I am torn on whether to keep it in my home gym or use it with my team. The rope itself is lightweight and the cord is smooth rubber coated metal. I have received several ropes that are just pvc rope and those do not ever work as well as this style. It has the typical adjusters on the edge so you can shorten the rope as needed (you can also wrap around your hand but that slows the speed) the spin is smooth and does not catch so if your speed is limited, it is NOT the rope. The handles are well made, the typical slim style but with an indent to make them easy to hold. They have rubber coated handles that make them easy to grip.

Very Nice Rope
High quality rope. SKLZ puts out pretty decent stuff. The handles have a nice, soft rubber grip to them and fit well in the hand. The bearings in the handles are really good, you can hold the clasp and spin it like a top and the handle will just keep going. The cord just isn't attached to the end of the handle, those bearing keep it from ever getting kinked or tangled and it rotates very easily. Cord seems quality as well....I'm 6/2 and had to shorten it up some. I'm guessing this would cover anyone from like 6/4 to 6/5 tall. Careful using with bare feet, that cord stings a little if it whips your toes. Very nice quality rope though.

Not durable at all!
The handle of this unscrewed itself in a week and it is now useless. I reached out to the company regarding how to fix it and received no answer. Waste of money.

Excellent Quality
I have a dozen or so speed ropes that I have used until they have wires poking through. My biggest complaint is usually that they fasteners come loose and fly off never to be found again. Or the rope is just too short for my 6'2" frame. This one has both bases covered. A long rope allows you to shorten it as needed. I don't even cut it, I just allow the extra few inches to protrude on the handles because they don't ever get in the way. The bearings are smooth and the handles have a delicate shape that makes them easy to grasp. I love this rope and highly recommend it.
