I have used this to work really quickly on my Ibanez semi-hollow. The smooth back protects the finish when removing knobs, and I had no issue using it to remove all fasteners (including the output jack) in no time. I wish I bought this 10 years ago! Tremendous value: for the cost of a coffee, you get a tool ... for life for what I can tell. Very rugged and versatile.

I always thought these little tools were hokey and useless until I needed to tighten a pot nut without pulling the knob. Use the side with the hole to tighten and the plain to loosen. Very handy tool to have around. It's also felt backed for no scratches. It's just thick enough to be effective and very hard so you're not going to bend it. Get one

It's ok tool. It works mostly, but it's a bit harder to use than same tool from different manufacturer. It does fit most of the screws on your guitar, and it can adjust to different screw sizes, but grip is not the greatest (you'll have to use significant force to ensure it keeps gripping). On the good site, it's thicker and less flimsy with my other tools... I think with some small increase in precision of the 'teethed' part of the edge, it would be really good tool.

I got one of these for my guitar repair shop and it's been a great tool addition to the shop. It's well made and quick and easy to use! I recommend it!

This inexpensive copy is cheaply crafted. The felt backing uses poor adhesive that allows movement with little pressure against the felt. This is sure to shift over time with use. The felt is poorly cut and extends over the the gripping teeth, making initial use sloppy. To it's credit, it will tighten and loosen nuts on your guitar, but it's durability is questionable. I would recommend spending a few dollars more & getting a better crafted tool.

I have read reviews about this scratching the guitar. Yes, if your in a hurry and do not cover the area where this will make contact but so will any other. Cover your guitar with a cloth of any sort and this will work without any damage. This was the first time I ever changed my guitar knobs and I had zero issues. Great deal!

These tools are pretty sturdy. I can't imagine ever bending it just removing knobs. The felt backing was very slightly misaligned but has no negative effect as far as I can tell. I haven't used it yet for tightening nuts. It was a good price and quite useful. The shipping was quick as always with Prime. I don't see why anyone would pay more for a similar tool.

OK I purchased this wrench as I prefer do my own work in guitar set ups & repair. Works very well on my ESP guitars as well as others. Saves time. Highly recommend this item for those do it yourself luthiers.

Nice and easy plus the felt backing protector makes servicing quick, no cloths or tape to protect the guitar is needed.
