Every spring/summer I tend to get a cluster of flies in my apartment. At least 75. They don't come all at once. Once I kill about 10 of those suckers I turn my head for one minute and another 10 magically appear. After about 3 or 4 rounds of this I thought i was in the clear. But oh no, while trying to sleep i saw 4 of those suckers buzzing around my bedroom which led to me frantically searching for something to help with this problem around 11pm at night. I was so frustrated that I even paid extra for overnight shipping (which I NEVER do). By the time I woke up the next day the bottle of spray had arrived and I was ready for battle.And let me tell you, it was a bloodbath (without the blood). After spraying about 15-20 flies that were around my door, they started dropping...well, like flies I suppose. I let one survive so it could go back and tell it's friends what had happened. And I haven't seen another fly since.Like others have been saying, it did leave an oily reside on my screen door but I cleaned it up no problem. There is a smell, but it wasn't too strong (for me) and I had the patio door open to air out so that helped clear out the residual odor. I ended up using a little over a quarter of the bottle to kill about 20 flies. Definitely worth it!

I'm updating my review: I LOVE THIS STUFF AND NOTHING ELSE WORKS LIKE IT. It's easy. As mentioned below they state STEM may need reapplication, but not that often. And, a little goes a long long way. Plus, because the price is right, you can continue to purchase it as you need it. Critters really hate it and go away. It is so worth it. If you spray them they die immediately but I don't care if they die. I just want them to stay away and they do! The smell is overwhelming and I don't care! The scent alone DETERS anything from insects to rodents. It keeps me from having to set traps. It keeps me from using neurotoxin sprays. I love it and wish it didn't smell so strong but THAT'S WHY IT WORKS!!! It's only essential oils and it is all natural.After the third yellow sac spider (and he seemed well-fed) landed in my bed, I had - had enough. I give a quick SPURT anywhere I might see a cobweb or in corners and on the ceiling fan ...because they seem to like it up there, dopes. Regardless, the smell alone is a deterrent! Wouldn't it be nice if you didn't see them at all! Wouldn't it be nice if they just stayed away? I don't mind reapplication because it doesn't take much. A SPRITZ DOES THE TRICK. Thankfully the price is right or I would look into other options but the lemongrass in this product is despised by spiders and rodents. A small spritz and your whole room will be a deterrent. I would now like to get some sleep and think I will. I don't like seeing creatures and I don't want them around. This keeps them away in the first place! Isn't that what you want? Don't hesitate. Don't bother with ant traps. Use this and repeat the usage until it stops. You can use traps outside the house, if you have more trouble. It does leave a horribly oily residue so don't spray it anywhere you can't wipe down later. That's the only drawback and it's not a big one.Despite the fact that this may need reapplication, it's surprising how well it works. I had to leave one of the homes unoccupied for quite a while (years). I bought this for ants, but was surprised to find that some mice had also taken up residence in the basement. I would spray and although the scent would dissipate, it actually took some time... Longer than they say on the bottle. I also found wetting cardboard, cotton balls or anything absorbent could be placed in various locations and that makes for easy cleanup. I'd simply spray again, and eventually, it seemed they did not want to come back. As far as the ants go, they are dead on contact. All I needed to do was find the general location where they were coming from and it was over. One small word of caution, if you are sensitive to smells, you won't get away scott-free. It may be natural but a little goes a long way. Overspraying, was overwhelming. It gave me headaches. IT WAS STILL WORTH IT! Don't overspray.

This works great. I used it to kill ants in my kitchen. Worked every time. The only drawback is that it leaves a film when it landed on the counter. I used it outside to kill some flies that for some reason were flying in circles at my gate. It killed the flies immediately. However, when it landed on the rocks below, it made them all shiny (I wish they all looked this good). I'm sure it will eventually go away. But the product does work very well.

I would give this spray 100 stars if I could. I bought this spray because it is safe for pets, and since I have 4 dogs and 2 parrots, I have to take care when buying products.I got up in the middle of the night, so I checked on the two small dogs who sleep in a big crate. One of them had pooped; when I got the pups out of their crate, they were both frantically itching, which was strange because they had been to the groomer the day before. When I looked closely, their kennel was filled with ants, so I used this spray for the first time. It immediately killed the ants, so I cleaned their kennel and sprayed a barrier around it.The smell is a little strange, but it is okay since all that matters is that it is safe around pets and actually works.I highly recommend this for people with pets!

I was skeptical because so many "natural" or "pet-safe" products don't actually work. I took the risk because I hate spraying pesticides in my house. I had these huge horse flies that appeared over night and seemed to multiple every hour. On contact, it knocked them out of the air, then they quickly died on the floor. It's more effective than any other spray I've ever used. I recommend 100%! I couldn't be more pleased.

The next door neighbor moved out and we inherited their roachies. I have pets and children so we purchased this spray hoping we could use it sparingly to treat problem areas and for direct contact to terminate the bugs. I didn't mind the smell too much. It's a smell of lemongrass and some other essential oils, and not fumes. Lemongrass makes he nauseous but I was willing to use the spray because it's natural / harmless. I read the other reviews on the hazard of applying to walkways, so I did not. The other household members did not get the memo and immediately complained about the "chemical" smell. I told them they weren't chemicals but oils, but they don't care what it is. They just don't want me to spray the liquid anymore.I just received the product last night, so I can't rate the efficacy on wether it ends the bugs or not. I will update this review if I can find a way to continue using the spray without anyone else being affected.
