GREAT LITTLE STEPPER
Great lil stepper. I had this in the box for a week dreading to put it together and was amazed at how easy it is that a 10year old child can do it without difficulty. The product demonstration shows step by step how to do it, which is a great plus if you are one like me who hates to read an instruction manual. I could immediately feel the work out in my thighs and bottom. This is a great machine to incorporate into your exercise program. It is lightweight but incredible sturdy and well made and doesn't take up a lot of space. Well worth the money for a machine to use everyday while watching tv :) If you are the fence about buying this, don't hesitate as you will not be disappointed. I don't believe there are any negative reviews, but if there are any, just ignore them and get this to help get back into shape and moving!!!!!!!!!!! I love my stepper.Im so glad I made the purchase.

A Great Stepper At A Great Price
This was an excellent purchase at a crazy low price. Very easy to assemble in 20 minutes. It works very well. A couple of things to consider... The foot step distance is a little short but it's easy to adapt your stepping to match it. The hardest setting is for me about average as I'm pretty fit. But I still work up a good sweat in 30 minutes by speeding up stepping speed. The build quality is excellent too. The little computer works great. It automatically rotates the display through several readings, or if you tap the button for a second or two it stays in a display mode you like which is what I do. Finally, after a couple of uses it did start squeaking a bit. I tried the grease that they include in a little plastic envelope but it didn't help. I then tried spraying the moving parts with a little WD-40 and it's been quiet ever since. Caution.. I wouldn't spray the two pistons under the pedals. Those are quiet and WD40 may not be good for them. Finally, as any piston driven exercise equipment, those pistons get really really hot. That's normal. Don't pick up the machine and rub against them until they cool down. I forgot and they reminded me very quickly. Anyway, I highly recommend this stepper. One of my better purchases.

3.5 to 4 Stars full review...
I was looking for something I could use to get in some extra steps during the day besides walking in place or just around the house. Sometimes it's hard to get out or I don't have time to do a full walking video workout. This looked like it may fit the bill so decided to order it. Below are some pro's and con's which will hopefully help you make your decision to purchase:PROS:Seems well made and sturdy (except counter -see cons). Mostly metal construction. Was easy to put together except counter.Lightweight enough to easily move around from room to room.Very small footprint. About the size of a legal sheet of paper (just a bit wider).Very good workout. See additional comments below.Does work with your fitbit especially if you keep your fitbit arm in motion while stepping.CONS:The little step counter. Not designed well. See additional comments below. This will really work your calves and Achilles. May not be for everyone.A bit squeaky. I added some Dollar Store stick on chair leg pads to cushion it.COMMENTS:The step counter sensor is not designed well. It uses a magnet on one of the pedal. Every time the magnet comes in contact with the sensor it increases the step and keeps the clock moving. The problem is the sensor is angled in a way that it doesn't make good contact with the magnet. I'm going to try and use some hot glue or earthquake putty to see if I can keep it angled so it comes in better contact with the magnet. In addition they specifically say in the instructions not to push it in too far but it came packed that way. Took me a while to push the sensor rod out of the little holder it was in. I think I can ultimately fix this but you would think it should just work without having to do this. The workout is more than just taking steps like walking and can really put a strain on your lower legs. It's more like walking up a hill even at the lower settings. I see myself using this for 5-10 min at a time, at least for a while.Overall I think this is a good little machine if they would just fix some of the minor issues, especially the counter.

Definitely the best for small spaces
This is the 2nd one of these steppers I have owned -- sold the first one when moving several years ago. The first time I chose it due to size limitations after lots of research, the second time went straight to it. Living in a small studio apartment (under 300 sq ft) there simply isn't room for much exercise equipment. If you do have to move it from place to place, don't worry, it is very easy to move around.I can read my Kindle or watch TV while using the stepper, although this would be easier if there was some kind of book stand on it. I love its ability to show how far you have gone or how long you have been working at it. Often have to have a timer so that I don't overdo it (as you don't realize how much you are doing, at least after used to it). The tension on this stepper ranges from very little to a LOT. I'm not at the LOT end.So looking an efficient exercise equipment that takes little room?, definitely look at this one. You won't be disappointed.UPDATE November 7, 2014:This week I took the stepper's instruction booklet (the stepper is light but not THAT light) to my new physical therapist. She was quite impressed with it, especially after I mentioned some of its functions -- things like maneuverability, electronic displays, etc., etc. And it is HARD to impress physical therapists. One thing which I forgot to mention in my earlier review are the handlebars. For those with severe balance problems I would NOT recommend it. But for those with little to mild balance problems I WOULD recommend it as I am in that grouping. The physical therapist was also impressed with that feature. I still wish that the manufacturer would offer an add on book holder.
