Review: Careful when washing!! - I love this blanket when I originally got it it fits perfectly over the bed and has great rate distribution. I had washed it once in the gentle cycle but also had to put a cover over top of it. My most recent time taking the cover off I found that the beads for spilling out and I can’t locate the source. It’s sad I really love the blanket but I’ll probably have to throw it out now.

**Q: What are the "sand like beads" made of?**
A: Despite what the description says, and despite how the company responded to this very question, the beads are 90% glass and 10% polyester which means I'll have to return it because I'm allergic to polyester which is the exact reason why I bought a 100% cotton and glass bead blanket.

A: Yes.

**Q: How big are the squares are they 6inches or less?**
A: The squares are 4' x 4'.
