Good quality camera. We now have 4 of these. Easy to set up and install. Looo obvious outside as a deterrent with the added security light too. Good motion movement and a great clear picture. Great value compared to the high end cameras I was very impressed. Better than the ring cameras. Lots of features to make it suit your needs. I do recommend this brand.

I use this security camera in my stables to keep an eye on horses. It’s a significant upgrade on the quality of the last one I purchased a few years back! The app was easy to install and the auto-setup was foolproof. Connectivity was pretty much instant and there’s lots of helpful info on the setup guide and online. The power cable wasn’t hugely long, but long enough to do the job for me. It has a great range of motion and whilst I don’t always use the auto/alerts etc, I did check them out and they worked well, even distinguishing between animals moving around and people. The sound quality is fine and it has a speaker so you can talk back. The recording feature needs an SD card but again, the instructions are easy to get this up and working. Probably the best feature for me is the night vision which is very clear and good quality. You should be aware this camera does need a WiFi connection. I use a little mobile router and it reaches that easily, so don’t assume it works on 4G etc. Overall, a brilliant buy for the price!

I don't often write a review, but after the fantastic customer service I thought I'd share my experience. I ordered one of these cameras to monitor my front garden first, before I ordered another for the back garden, I found it very easy to install, the most difficult part being getting the cable outside to the camera. The first part of installation I did inside, powering up the camera and following instructions as I went on, I then managed to connect it to Alexa as well. I got a small hole drilled through the inside to ouside, big enough to fit the plug through and made a very neat job of it then went on to finish the camera setup on the Cloudedge App by way of setting camera resting place and alarm area etc. I was so impressed with it after a couple of weeks I ordered a 2nd camera for the back garden and went through the same routine to set it up. I hit a snag after setting it up with Cloudedge, as Alexa wouldn't recognise the camera and I spent ages trying all different settings, but with no luck. So, I contacted Dekco by Amazon message centre asking if there was something I was doing wrong. I was then told the camera software was the wrong type and they would send me an up to date camera FOC. When it arrived in a couple of days I had the new camera up and running with Cloudedge and Alexa, so went on to install it outside as the previous one I'd fitted. I have now had both cameras installed and fitted with 128gb micro SD cards for about 4 weeks and they work superbly picking up motion in the set alarm areas only and the motion tracking is amazing. I now have a spare camera, which I know won't work with Alexa, but still works with Cloudedge, so I am going to install that camera at the rear of the garage facing the door,,, might as well, it's free! Telling Alexa to show Front or Back garden camera on their view screens is easy and takes a couple of seconds for the Meari App to load. To sum up, I now have a full security system connected to Alexa, along with a wired Ring doorbell for not a lot of cash, just a bit of setting up the Apps and drilling a couple of holes and I'm over 70 years old as well. Good little camera pair, easy to set up and install. Smaller than expected and didn’t read the description properly, so no zoom with these. However, good enough for what was needed. App works well and no issues with that, tries to push you towards subscription for the cloud storage but not needed in my case so ignored. Only just installed so we’ll see how they perform over the longer period and in the wet, snow and wind! Night vision not checked yet. UPDATE - having now used for a few days I can say it’s a great little camera, night vision works well and no issues. UPDATE 2 - now having fitted 128Gb SD cards can also say that the 24 hour recording (with auto overwrite) works well too.

If I wanted this as a security camera I'd be disappointed to be honest... The image quality is like the phones from back in the day and as such is unable to read a car number plate in broad daylight on a sunny day from 20 ft away!!!! I'm blind and can still see the numbers without my glasses! The only reason I bought it was so I could do things and not worry about missing a parcel or anything like that as I hate just waiting around looking out the window so now I can do other things and use my phone to know when someone is here 😁😂 To sum up; If its for a security camera then go for one with better quality if its for knowing when someone is at your front door when you cant be constantly looking out the window then yes its perfect 👌 Edit/update; So yesterday I received an email from some random person claiming to be an employee of the company that makes these cameras, they wanted live screen shots and other things... I have never felt so violated online as I did when I received that unwanted random email regarding a cheap camera purchase on amazon and they even copied and pasted my entire review as well! If you who sent the email are reading this then please never do that again to anyone else it's just weird and creepy and how the hell did you get my email???
