These are really easy to use, and show you very quickly the state of your water levels. No fiddling around with test tubes and the like. Just dip, give it fifteen seconds and hold the strip up to the bottle side to show if your water is good. The colour chart indicator even gives you useful ways to get the levels back to safe if there is a problem. Great product for a fraction of the price of a full testing kit. Plus, you don't need to be Walter White to use it

Works a treat, consistent with other test strips however, I will be seeking a liquid test kit for Nitrates as my main tank was showing a little high despite minimal feeding, regular 50% water changes and under stocking. It’s been stable for close to 3 years now so this is a bit concerning from a test perspective. These are ideal for regular, quick testing and do keep matters in check but liquids are more accurate ppm.

I'm only giving it 3 stars because of the pH reading. It's just not detailed enough, it's got no fidelity. The difference between low pH and high pH is suck a subtle shade that it makes any reasonable reading impossible. It's not obvious on the picture, but the test strip is a different tone making it really hard to see what the pH is. On my other test strips that I use I can see my pH is 7.5 quite easily. On my other strips though the Total Hardness is a different tone so you've got to pick your potato. Also on this strip 1 ppm of Nitrite is considered fine while my other strips says 1ppm of Nitrite is high enough to need a water change, same when you google it. So, if you have fish in your aquarium which you probably do I would get some other test strips or be aware that 1 ppm of Nitrite means you have to do a water change and probably a 50% change. I don't know if you've had any luck with additives that bring down the Nitrites but I haven't. I just have to do a water change.

So simple to use, it will save me $5 each time I go to the fish shop.. and at least I can now see what my chemical levels are

We have a small tank, just a handful of fish. These strips get the job done. As far as I know they are accurate, I've seen some fluctuating in the balance of the water. They are easy to read and easy to use. They give me some piece of mind that the aquarium is in the correct range.

6-in-1 water diagnostic strips. They're accurate and easy to use. Just be sure to keep them dry, cool and out of sunlight, since some of the tests are enzyme-driven. Highly recommended.
