Works perfectly

The AGAC30 wasn't listed as compatible but I took a chance anyway. Record button, focus knob, manual/auto focus switch, and zoom controls all work perfect! All for less than others are charging for JUST a zoom control! I can't for the life of me figure out how to turn off auto IRIS control in the camera (and right now I don't need nor really care about it, all I really wanted was zoom control but having manual focus control is cool too) but I would assume it works as well. The unit itself feels pretty well built, has a nice heft to it and everything is metal.Edit: figured out how to manually control IRIS and the IRIS control works as well!

I use it on a Panasonic HC-X1. Works great for zoom and focus control. Smooth action, highly recommended. FYI doesn’t do tilt or pan so you’ll need a pan/tilt control too (which I didn’t realize). Great for amateur or professional work (I’m a 2x Emmy award winner - yes it’s that good).

I assumed since it worked with HC-X1000 that it would work with the HC-X2000 but nope. It doesn't.Not their fault but just sad now.

The Iris and Focus work perfectly but the zoom control doesn't work at all. The first time I tried it, it would only zoom in by itself and stay there. If I tried to zoom out, it would zoom back in instantly. Now it doesn't zoom at all. I have a panasonic AGAC30.

I like the convenience of operating my camera while sitting down. It’s perfect for turning camcorder recording on and off. Zooming too

This item doesn't work with the AG-CX350. Yes it doesn't list that model as compatible but searching for remotes for that camera this device comes up. With the long list of supported cameras, I took the risk and it doesn't work. Should have tried it before the return window was up but was gone for most of it. Bottom line, don't buy if you have an AG-CX350.
