Have been using Accusharp blade sharpeners for years, excellent product which simplifies sharpening your kitchen knives, pocket knives, and best of all, blender blades! There is basically no way to easily sharpen curved blender or food processor blades, except by using this tool. I have used my Oster blender daily for the past 5 years to make smoothies. The blades lost their sharpness after several months of grinding through semi-frozen fruit used for smoothies, started to take extra long time to get the right texture. When I checked the blades they were indeed much less sharp than when new. I imagine blender owner might either try to buy replacement blades at an exorbitantly high price or get frustrated and buy a new blender. Using the Accusharp on the blender blades worked every time for me, and the sharp blades enable the blender to chop things at maximum efficiency. I do this every couple of months, and my blender continues to work as well as it did new. For knife blades, the Accusharp is simple to use and keeps your blades sharp and ready to use with minimal effort. Highly recommended!

It's always a love hate relationship with these sharpeners. They do what they say they're going to do very well give you a sharp edge . So in essence they do exactly what it's supposed to do sharp knife. Typically keep these in the fishing box and for sharpening paring knives etc very good. They will chew up the edge a little bit as they are working their magic and removing steel if you're looking for a fine polished edge this is not going to be it. If you're looking to make your knife sharp and usable without being a scientist this is perfect

This is just a great little tool that does the job. I have several sharp swords with no secondary edge. This tool does a good job, is light, easily packable. I have used it for several months and still works as well today as when it arrived.

I was really torn between purchasing a manual knife sharpener and an electric one. Based upon reviews, I decided to give this AccuSharp Knife & Tool Sharpener a try and boy am I glad I did! It sharpened all of my kitchen knives easily 6-7 strokes on each knife brought them to razor-sharp edges. The directions state that the first time you sharpen a knife, it most likely will take a few extra strokes, but once you sharpen a knife, future sharpenings will require fewer strokes. It is important to read the directions on the back panel of the packaging in order to successfully and safely sharpen knifes. There are Youtube videos showing different sharpening ways - do NOT follow any of them! Read the package and follow THOSE directions for success! The sharpener comes with a hand guard, and clear directions on how to change or replace the sharpening stones inside. You can actually swap the blades after a few years use so you may not need to keep a set of replacement sharpening stones on-hand, but they are inexpensive enough (now) that I purchased a set to have on hand for years down the line; my grandkids will probably need to install the new stones when they inherit the sharpener! Seriously, this sharpener really does a great job on straight-edge and serrated blades. The only downside is that this sharpener is NOT FOR SCISSORS.

This sharpener works great. I bought one several years ago and when I saw it on Amazon I thought I would get a spare one. Try it it is not hard to use and it does a great job.

Works very well. Easy to use. I had a knife that I had tried to keep sharp by using a sharpening steel. I think I messed it up and blunted it. So I searched on Amazon, read reviews and found this. After a few uses it has brought back the sharpness of the knife I wanted to sharpen and seems like it's a really good product. That knife is as good as ever. Recommend this product.
